Tania the rebel Chapter 1 1

"My beautiful Tania, will you leave us your card to go shopping?" asks Sarah with sweet eyes

"I already know where you want to come , take my card in my bag and do as you want " answers Tania

"Wow, I'm going to enjoy myself so much today" exclaims Louisa

"It is to leave for a day of purchase my friends " says Farida all joyful

As you can see, this is their routine, walking around, shopping and so on.

Indeed Tania Lorena is the richest among them. She is Congolese of father and mother. Her father is a businessman and her mother a great stylist. She is also a model, she represents several brands of clothing and others.

She travels all over the world because of her career. She is already a big star in the world of celebrity because she was in it since she was a child and also because of her parents' connections.

Her father loves her unconditionally and that's why she thinks she can do anything. She has an older brother named Max Lorena, a businessman like her father, he is very calm and does not like the behavior of his sister. Unnecessary outings, unnecessary spending and wasting was all she liked.

At 1m68 tall, 23 years old, she is a very beautiful girl with a light complexion and an attractive shape. Any man would have bet to have her even if it was only for one night. But she thinks she is the center of the world because of her potential.

Sarah, Louisa and Farida are her three best friends since she was a child. The four are of the same nationality but from different villages. They met in a school in the city and that's where they met. Since then, they have become best friends.

Sarah Jesey is 24 years old and works in a company as an assistant. Her family is also rich but not too rich. She is the most barvard of the group.

Louisa Morel is light skinned and she is the manager of a children's clothing store. She is 24 years old.

Farida Matt, the shortest of them aged 25 years, she is of chocolate complexion and works in a large hospital of the place where she is a nurse. Not being from a very rich family, she wants to continue her studies for someone famous tomorrow. In any case she is the most posed of them.

They took most of the day to go shopping. Once finished, they went back home. Let's say they have a house together because they don't want to live with their parents anymore because they have grown up. But it wasn't that, but rather to have free space to do their mischief. The house belongs to Tania, her mother was against this idea but her father helped her.

They came back home, each one of them tried what she had bought, it was so much that it looked like a market of accessories and other things.

"My loves, do you know that my birthday is next 12?

"Who can forget your birthday, my baby?" replies Sarah.

"Yeah that day it will heat up".

"Yes, even you, it is still the daughter of the big businessman of Lagos who wants to celebrate her birthday there" says Tania to boast

"oh!!! I'm going to enjoy myself so much on that day, drinks in disorder I hope?" asks Sarah

"Yes, by the way, everyone will say what they want on that day" says Tania

They talked about everything and nothing until they fell asleep on the bed.

~ In the residence of Lorena

We saw a very big house with guards inside. It was the house of the father of Tania. A car had just arrived in the yard. It was Mrs. and Mr. Lorena.

"Then madam accept to follow me in the room?" asked ironically her husband

"Yes, gentlemen, with pleasure" she smiled.

"You will like what I am going to do to you.

"I can't wait, my darling."

Despite several years of marriage, there is still complicity between them. They love each other very much. Arrived in the room, the woman finds the room decorated in petals of rose with flowers.

"My love, all this for me?" exclaims Mrs. Lorena joyfully.

"yes you like it?"

"yes, all this in honor of what?"

"In honor of my wife, it's just a surprise."

"I am moved, thank you my heart."

"I want us to enjoy the moment that we are as if it was our first meeting. Do you remember our first meeting when you almost hit a peanut seller?"

"Yes, yes, I remember well, that saleswoman was lucky that day.

" yes you thought I was too handsome that day and you looked at me until you wanted to run over the poor lady "

"Who's handsome? with your ugly face like that of an unemployed man" teased his wife

"Yeah, despite that you always stayed with me".

" it's for pity eh"

" says that I became your drug... " says Mr Lorena laughing

It is in this atmosphere that the couple ended their night. They made love as if it was their first time. The night after their lovemaking, Mrs. .... thought about their meeting and smiled.

"I remember like it was yesterday, the first time I saw him, my heart told me it was him. I looked at him until I almost knocked over a peanut vendor as he said before. I looked all over the city for him until I found him after months of searching and not giving up. When I finally saw him in front of me, I didn't know what to say because he was so beautiful. We stared at each other for a long time... until he came closer to me and kissed me.

I went to the City Clerk’s office for a routine copy of my marriage license to finalize a trust fund audit. I expected a simple piece of paper, but the clerk’s pitying look told me my entire life was a lie. "The license was never finalized, Ms. Oliver. In the eyes of the state, you are single." The three-hundred-guest wedding at the Plaza and the Vogue features meant nothing. My husband, Gray Cooley, had intentionally filed the documents with a "procedural defect" so he could discard me without a legal divorce. Moments later, an iCloud invite titled "Our Little Secret" popped up on my screen. It was a photo of my best friend, Brylee, holding a positive pregnancy test at our Hamptons estate. Gray’s text to her was the final blow: "Happy anniversary, babe. This baby is the best gift. Once the trust unlocks today, we’re done with the charade." I soon discovered they were even stealing my career, reassigning my architectural masterpiece to Brylee while preparing my eviction notice. Gray's mother called me a "barren mule" in a leaked recording, mocking the infertility I suffered after saving Gray’s life in a construction accident. I wasn't a wife; I was a three-year placeholder used to secure his inheritance. How could the man I bled for treat me like a disposable prop? How could my best friend carry his child while pretending to comfort me through my darkest moments? The betrayal burned until it turned into a cold, hard stone of fury. I didn't cry. Instead, I walked into the penthouse of the Barretts, the Cooleys' most powerful rivals. I signed a marriage contract with Kane Barrett, the man the tabloids called the "Beast of Wall Street." "I want a wedding," I told his father, my voice steady and lethal. "Bigger than the one I had with Gray." If they wanted me gone, they would have to watch me become the woman who owns their world.

Being second best is practically in my DNA. My sister got the love, the attention, the spotlight. And now, even her damn fiancé. Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now-billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn't mind. I'd crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one? Wrong. One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That's when it hit me-he didn't love me. He didn't even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn't even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup. So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster-my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise. Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol. Enter him. Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I'd met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes. It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised. But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life. And, as it turned out, the best decision I'd ever made. Because my one-night stand isn't just some random guy. He's richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with. And now, he's not letting me go.

I sat on the edge of the examination table, the crinkle of the sanitary paper sounding like thunder in the sterile room. The doctor didn't even look at me as he confirmed the news: the pregnancy was over. My husband, Keyon, didn't answer my call. He just sent an automated text: "In a meeting." When I returned to our cold mansion, I found his iPad glowing with a message from his "muse," Katina. He was throwing her a secret gala tonight-on our third wedding anniversary. He told her he couldn't wait to escape the "boring" and "draining" atmosphere I created at home. Keyon didn't stumble in until 3 AM, smelling of Katina's perfume with a smear of red on his collar. When I handed him the divorce papers, he laughed in my face. He called me a "glorified housekeeper" with no skills and no future, promising I'd be back in three days begging for a subway ticket. He even bet his friends ten thousand dollars that I wouldn't survive a week without his name. He had his assistant cancel my credit cards and block my gate access before I even reached the end of the driveway. He wanted me to starve. He wanted me to crawl. He sat in his office, mocking the "desperate" woman who pawned her three-million-dollar wedding ring for scrap metal just to pay for a meal. I stood on the rainy curb, watching the man I had protected for three years treat my life like trash. He didn't know about the ultrasound I just threw in the bin. He didn't know that while he was calling me "dull," I was the one secretly writing the code that kept his billion-dollar empire from collapsing. As I slid into a cheap Uber, I opened a hidden, encrypted app on my phone. The screen refreshed to a dashboard for an account Keyon didn't know existed. The balance was ten figures long-the accumulated wealth of "Solaris," the world's most elusive tech genius. Keyon thinks he just evicted a parasite, but he's about to find out he just declared war on the only person who can hit "delete" on his entire life.

I was once the heiress to the Solomon empire, but after it crumbled, I became the "charity case" ward of the wealthy Hyde family. For years, I lived in their shadows, clinging to the promise that Anson Hyde would always be my protector. That promise shattered when Anson walked into the ballroom with Claudine Chapman on his arm. Claudine was the girl who had spent years making my life a living hell, and now Anson was announcing their engagement to the world. The humiliation was instant. Guests sneered at my cheap dress, and a waiter intentionally sloshed champagne over me, knowing I was a nobody. Anson didn't even look my way; he was too busy whispering possessively to his new fiancée. I was a ghost in my own home, watching my protector celebrate with my tormentor. The betrayal burned. I realized I wasn't a ward; I was a pawn Anson had kept on a shelf until he found a better trade. I had no money, no allies, and a legal trust fund that Anson controlled with a flick of his wrist. Fleeing to the library, I stumbled into Dallas Koch—a titan of industry and my best friend’s father. He was a wall of cold, absolute power that even the Hydes feared. "Marry me," I blurted out, desperate to find a shield Anson couldn't climb. Dallas didn't laugh. He pulled out a marriage agreement and a heavy fountain pen. "Sign," he commanded, his voice a low rumble. "But if you walk out that door with me, you never go back." I signed my name, trading my life for the only man dangerous enough to keep me safe.

Today is October 14th, my birthday. I returned to New York after months away, dragging my suitcase through the biting wind, but the VIP pickup zone where my husband's Maybach usually idled was empty. When I finally let myself into our Upper East Side penthouse, I didn't find a cake or a "welcome home" banner. Instead, I found my husband, Caden, kneeling on the floor, helping our five-year-old daughter wrap a massive gift for my half-sister, Adalynn. Caden didn't even look up when I walked in; he was too busy laughing with the girl who had already stolen my father's legacy and was now moving in on my family. "Auntie Addie is a million times better than Mommy," my daughter Elara chirped, clutching a plush toy Caden had once forbidden me from buying for her. "Mommy is mean," she whispered loudly, while Caden just smirked, calling me a "drill sergeant" before whisking her off to Adalynn's party without a second glance. Later that night, I saw a video Adalynn posted online where my husband and child laughed while mocking my "sensitive" nature, treating me like an inconvenient ghost in my own home. I had spent five years researching nutrition for Elara's health and managing every detail of Caden's empire, only to be discarded the moment I wasn't in the room. How could the man who set his safe combination to my birthday completely forget I even existed? The realization didn't break me; it turned me into ice. I didn't scream or beg for an explanation. I simply walked into the study, pulled out the divorce papers I'd drafted months ago, and took a black marker to the terms. I crossed out the alimony, the mansion, and even the custody clause-if they wanted a life without me, I would give them exactly what they asked for. I left my four-carat diamond ring on the console table and walked out into the rain with nothing but a heavily encrypted hard drive. The submissive Mrs. Holloway was gone, and "Ghost," the most lethal architect in the tech world, was finally back online to take back everything they thought I'd forgotten.
