"1.2 billon dollars is unreasonable." Zachary said. "Sinclair gave my uncle 1 billion. I just need you to top his. It's not unreasonable." She yelled a few minutes from now Zachary could go deaf. "No, I can't just give you 1.2 billion dollars, you're not worth it." Zachary said in a fit of anger. Likely, all the men given to her hates her so she'll have to pick the one she can handle. Fate brings Zachary and Hannah together on Lilly's birthday party. Although, they didn't start off good but Hannah ends up proposing to him since he's a candidate of the men chosen and he accepts. The two bound together by hatred concludes on living a horrid marriage of absolute chaos. But soon enough, their Hatred for one another would create a bond that surpass the thorn of disdain.
Chapter 1 MARRY ME HANNAH
HANNAH'S POV
I laid in bed next to the familiar who was half awake. After tiring him out I was able to get the information I needed. I sighed heavily. I needed a shower and a hot one for that matter. Sliding the blanket away I got up strutting down to the bathroom. Immediately I locked it, I needed a private shower I couldn't bet on the odds that the man on the bed might respect my privacy and let me shower alone.
Immediately I bristly run the tap hot handle of the shower and a little bit of the cold handle and just stayed there with my underwear and a dress shirt.
I was too tired to take both off, I needed something warm to drive this cold negate of emptiness. At first I felt warm but at the same time I felt nothing.
I sighed finally taking off my dress shirt and undies shutting my eyes. My hands wrapped me allover as a way of comforting me, I felt a little peck of warmth the size of a grain of rice my face fell and my eyes morbids slowly. "Hannah, you've been in the shower for way too long did you die ?" I groaned on hearing the Jacob's voice. I didn't reply, if I didn't say anything he might consider the fact that I am ignoring him. "Hannah ? Why are you quiet ?" Jacob goes off again, I kept quiet and hoped he gives up.
"Hannah ?" His voice gave his emotions away, he really thought I was dead or something. I could have found this amusing but I was already irritated enough.
"H.."
"What ?" I cut him off, immediately I run turn off the shower picked up my undies and dress shirt. I squeezed the water out of them and immediately walked out to meet Jacob who couldn't look away from my body. "Are you okay ?" He asked, his eyes bouncing back and forth disrespectfully.
I ignored him and quickly put on another dress shirt, I picked up my wet clothes concluding on leaving it in the bathroom and phoning for the hotel to dry it when dawn breaks, it is currently 4am.
"Will you stop staring at me Jacob. I don't like that sinful look in your eyes." I said clearly provoked. Jacob struts over to me picking up my chin. "Wanna go for another round ?" Jacob smirked leaning in for a kiss, i immediately pressed my palms over his lips pushing his face away.
"No thank you, I'm tired." I recites, I looked around the hotel room clearly showing my repugnanc towards Jacob. "Ah I did tire you last night, I'm surprised that you can still walk." Jacob smirked at me hoping he'll get a reaction all be got was my cold dead stare. He looked mortified.
I smirked on getting that reaction. "You never tired me, I tired you out. You couldn't even keep up. I was awake till 2 in the morning. I'm tired of you not being able to keep up dipshit." I watched Jacob's face slowly turn red.
I got bored of just looking at his face and picked up my phone to keep me busy. Jacob unable to say anything to me went to the bathroom to probably cry or something.
I immediately dialed a number, it was 4:21am I hoped that the person I'm contacting is awake and not sleeping. Immediately I heard a voicemail entry sings in my ears, when it got to the part to leave a message I vaguely muttered "It's me Hannah, I got the information you needed I'll relay it to you later. We need to meet in person i have a request." I immediately hang up staring at my phone.
Jacob came back in, I didn't bother to look at him but I know he couldn't keep his eyes of me.
"What Jacob ?" I asked unable to bear his glances even though I could not see it. "You're still working for your uncle ?" This means he knows I'm sleeping with him for information.
"Yes I am. You know I'm sleeping with you to get information from you." Jacob looked away confirming he wasn't as stupid as I credit him for.
"Why didn't you confront me or better use that for your advantage ?" I asked confused. The information I've been stealing for Jacob was worth billions and he let me steal them. "Because if you didn't get them he would have killed you." Jacob says in a depressing tone. I looked down at my thighs.
"What makes you think he would have killed me ?" I asked with a smug look on my face.
"I'm not stupid Hannah, I know what stretch marks are and it's not what's on your hip. Those are burn scars." I almost choked on my saliva. I thought I was able to treat them well to cover them up.
Jacob struts his way up to me. "I know he's hurting you. I only let you get away with it to reduce the burns or the possibility of you getting killed. I love you Hannah forget about working for him. Work for me instead I can treat you better I promise." I looked at Jacob lost in his dark brown eyes but then I realized that all what he said was just a dream.
If I ever turned my back against my uncle he will kill me for sure. I endured all those burns and beatings this long. I needed that man to give me my inheritance, I didn't come this far to abandon it and work for a man that might get bored of me.
"No thank you. I didn't ask for your help. How dare you ask me to betray my uncle ? He took me in when no one else wanted me. He provided for me and cared for me. Why will I stab the only person that ever extended his arms to help me. You may think it's just but that's disgusting. You make me sick." I narrated a whole ordeal of nonsense, I know it's nonsense but I needed to convince myself it was the truth.
"He's extending his arms full of thorns Hannah, I can't bear to see you like this."
"The only reason you ever got to see me like this was because of him. You're not the first or going to be the last get over yourself." I got up already irritated. "Then let me be the last man." I turned to see Jacob with one knee on the ground. He held a small box with a tiny ring sitting in it.
"Marry me Hannah."
