Ameera was suddenly hit by a billionaire's car and went into coma for three months. When she woke up, she realized that she'd not only lost her pregnancy, but even her fiancƩ was getting married to her manager in a couple of days. Her life was over. Her career as a model was over. The billionaire had ruined her and she despised him for it. She wanted revenge-and she would get it. She decided to sign a contract with him, and when she does, she's met with the unexpected. Akurrrrr!

Chapter 1 The pregnancy news

20:03, Jan. 18, 2022.

Ameera was in such a good mood that she didn't care about the drizzling.

She hopped happily down the pedestrian and stood impatiently when she reached the crosswalk.

It wasn't green yet.

It was going to be a joyous night. Sabastian would be incredibly happy to hear the news.

But first, she needed to give her manager a heads up. She rummaged through her bag for her phone and hastily put a call through to Martha.

"Hello," the voice came up on the other end.

"Marthaaaa!!!" Ameera squeaked, she was too happy to contain her breath. She saw the traffic light turn green and began to cross the road.

"Relax, what is it?" "Sabastian and I," She paused to catch her breath. "...we're having a ba-"

Ameera squinted her eyes at the oncoming car. It was speeding, and it seemed like the driver had no intention of stopping.

The phone slipped out of her hand, the blinding headlights making her close her eyes for a few seconds, and crashhhhh! She found herself rolling over the windscreen of the car, and falling on the ground with a thud.

She couldn't speak, neither could she move a finger. She tried to scream but no word came out of her mouth. She had only one thing in mind before she fell unconscious-her baby. Her poor precious baby.

THREE MONTHS LATER

"Don't you think I should have you fired right now?" Luther's voice was calm but deadly.

The shareholders shivered in their seats, wishing the meeting would get over soon. Although the CEO's words weren't meant for any of them, they all felt uncomfortable.

The CEO's assistant's head almost touched the ground as he bowed apologetically. "Forgive me, sir."

"Modify the proposition." Luthur spoke and his assistant bowed again.

"The meeting has been postponed." Having said that, he stood up on his feet, buttoning his tuxedo.

The shareholders rose to their feet at once, lowering their eyes.

Without casting a glance at any of them, Luther walked out of the conference room.

"What's next on my schedule?" He asked his assistant, who was trotting in order to keep up with his pace.

They were walking down the hallway, to the elevator.

Gabriel went through his boss' schedule for the day and said, "you are paying the woman a visit at the hospital."

Luther stooped in his tracks and turned around, "today is Friday?"

"Yes, Sir." Gabriel replied, biting his lip to stop him from clicking his tongue.

Luther let out a gusty sigh before turning back around. He resumed his long strides. He despised going to that hospital to see that woman.

"You should be the one going there, you know?" He sneered, as he came to a halt in front of an elevator.

Gabriel quickly punched on the button and stood behind him. "Why should that be me?" He frowned, pouting, Luther turned around and gave him a deadly glare.

If only looks were daggers, Gabriel would be six feet beneath the earth right now. He gulped uneasily, biting on his lower lip.

On the night of his brother's accident, he and Shavonne had gotten their brother drunk just so he could sleep with Charlotte and have her take in but things didn't go according to their plan.

They'd woken up to the heartbreaking news of their brother hitting a model with his car.

"You and Shavonne..." Luther's voice was graven and his face, emotionless.

The elevator slid open and he stepped inside first. There were two employees in there already and they bobbed their heads as soon as they'd sighted him, moving backwards to give him and his assistant enough space.

"We are sorry. It's the reason why I'm your assistant in the first place." Gabriel murmured grudgingly.

"I should have made you my houseboy then."

Gabriel's face drained of all colours and he heard the employees behind them choke on their spittle.

He looked back at them and turned back to the front in embarrassment.

He threw daggers at his brother's back with his eyes. His brother was a heartless man.

The elevator dinged as soon as it reached the ground floor and its doors slip open.

Hands in pockets, the CEO walked out of the corporation with his assistant-brother.

"The flowers?" He asked as he stood outside the corporation while his chauffeur drove his Lamborghini to his front.

"I got them already. Only your handsome face is needed there." Gabriel smiled alluringly.

Luther eyed his stupid brother and shook his head. He should have indeed made him become his houseboy.

A guard held open the backseat's door as soon as it came to a halt in front of him. Swiftly, he unbuttoned his tux's button with one hand and stepped into the backseat and the guard closed it.

Gabriel helped himself into the passenger's side and slammed the door shut.

"Shall I cut you off of all of your allowances-and your salary?" Luther's cold voice made him freeze.

"S-Ssir?" He stuttered.

"Don't you ever jam my door like that again." Luther's face was expressionless as always when he said this.

Gabriel murmured a "yes sir."

"Go." The CEO ordered his chauffeur.

The chauffeur bobbed and drove onto the tarred road.

The hospital was a bit far from the corporation, and traffic wasn't making it any better. The CEO was beginning to get impatient where he sat.

He glanced at the bunches of flowers lying on the seat beside him and frowned deeply.

"Get my jet down here." He ordered at once. He was starting to get irritated.

He simply wanted to drop the flowers and get the bullshit over with.

Gabriel's eyes almost popped out of their socket. He couldn't believe his ears.

Bring his jet down here? Even the driver pressed the hoot mistakenly at his boss' words and gulped.

"Erm, I-" Gabriel paused to take in a deep breath, "I do not think that is such a good idea-Sir-it will only cause more commotion."
