Two months later, Madine called Nadine; "If you dare have my husband's baby, I will kill it myself " Nadine threatened. Three years later; "Uncle, Marry our mommy"

Chapter 1 1

"Trent, I think your dad's illness is deteriorating day by day. You're only fifteen but you're his only child and heir to his entire empire. You know you have to take all those responsibility" Assistant Mu said. He looked at Trant and look at his father whose eyes were closed shut, breathing terribly. Assistant Mu has been with the family since Trent's father was in his early 30s. "I know" Trent answered. He looked at his father one more time before walking out.

His mother died when he was only one week old and now, his father was incapacitated on the bed and he has to take over the entire business at the age of fifteen, Trent felt very sad about this. He took his dairy and walked out of the vacation house where his father was kept safely. Trent walked to the beach side, he sat in front of the moving water then he began to write some words into his dairy. Trent was doing this when sad was mistakenly thrown on him. "The fuck!" He cursed and turned sharply to the direction it came from. Anger flushed his face but when he saw the face that threw the sand on him, his anger immediately settled. He looked at the girl as if he had seen an angel. She walked to him quickly and began to dust his body. She was as pretty as the sunflower, My lily, he said in his heart as if he had planned the name before. However, Madine began to dust his cloth saying "sorry" each time. Then, Trent gained himself, he frowned and said; "It's fine" He said and pushed her again away. "You're such a slob!" He said and walked out. Madine watched his retreating figure, she frowned as well and turned around. "You're the slob!" She yelled before walking out completely. Next Day; Madine took the little book off her reading table and set out. She was heading to the ocean side again. She wanted to see him again so she could give him his diary and even mock him for keeping a diary. Ha! Madine had gotten to the living room when Nadine walked over to her, she looked at her twin sister with scorn and said; "Dad's little perfectionists" She scowled, folded her arm and rolled her eyes. Madine sighed and didn't say anything. She ignored her twin sister and walked out. Madine reaches the ocean side, she looked in he direction Trent walked pass with hopeful eyes. Madine waited and waited but he didn't come. She sighed, scoffed and threw the book to the floor. She turned around and who saw frightened her so bad, she yelled and almost fell but the slender, tall and handsome guy held her by the waist. Her eyes closed, her lips pouted as if she was ready to be kissed. Trent scoffed and said; "Why do I feel like you like me already" He said. Madine opened her eyes wide, pushed him away and stood well. "Why will I ever like you. You're not even handsome" She lies, didn't mean it but her pride wouldn't let her say the truth. Trent scoffed and looked away from her. Then his eyes found his dairy on the floor, he walked to it and picked it up. Relieve washed his face as he thought he had lost it. Then he turned to Madine in anger and said; "Did you read my diary?!" He raised his brows in anger. "Scoffs. Why will I read your diary. It's probably full with names of girls you've fucked" Madine retorted. Her words seemed to pissed Trent off, he frowned, turned his back and sat down on the floor. Then Madine felt bad so she bent to his level and said; "I have a diary too. I don't want others to read mine so why will I do that to others?" She said truthfully. Her words like magic soothed his heart. He smiled and said; "Just like a lily." She smiled. Everyday, Trent and Madine would meet at the ocean, talked, smiled and played with each other as if they were dating. Until the last day, Madine family was going back home, they only came to Malibu for a vacation. Trent face became very sad, he wished he could claim her at that moment but he knew he had so many responsibilities to shoulder. He would never have time madine yet, he would have to choose between Madine and the whole company. "Will you wait for me?" He blurted. Madine turned to him sharply, she smiled and nodded her head. Then he held her hand and said; "Tell me a mark on your body and I'll come and find you" Madine thought of what he said, smiled then raised her top, she showed him a small black dot below her belly botton. "Oreo's family. When you come to our house, just tell my parents you want to marry their child and I'll come right out to you" She said. "My sunflower, My lily" He said and hugged her so tight. "I love you Trent" She said, her eyes glimmering under the sun. "I love you lily" He replied, hugged her until she had to go. ***** Ten Years Later: OREO's HOUSE: "Madine, why are you being so mean to your sister? You know she is not as strong as you" Mrs Oreo said. Madine rolled her eyes and looked away from her mom. Every time, her parents always took side with Nadine, they always gave the excuse that she was not strong enough just because she once had a kidney failure and Nadine was always taking advantage of it. "Mom I know. I get it, she is not strong enough but why do I have to give her the car I bought with my hard earned money because she couldn't save up enough money to buy a car. You give her more money than you give me so why don't she save up and buy a car or better still get a fucking job since we both we to college!" Madine yelled, frustratedly. She was so angry. Her parents were always preferential and she never complained not even once. She had to work very hard to get most things even when Nadine didn't work at all, she still didn't complain but Nadine was never satisfied. Nadine always wanted everything she had even though she doesn't get as much care as Nadine got. "I said it mom, I will not give her my car. You bought her a car before and you didn't buy for me. She sold hers to buy just one Gucci bag so now I have to give her mine? No way!" Madine said and stormed out in anger. Mrs Oreo called her until she was out of sight. "Mom!" Nadine looked at her mom with tears eyes and sat down on the chair. She began to cry as if she was cheated. Meanwhile: Madine drove out of the house in anger, tears rolled down her eyes as she drove through the tiled road. She increased the sound of the song playing, crying her sorrow out. She felt cheated. She felt as if her parents loved Nadine more than they love her. She was always doing better than Nadine but they have never seen her once. They preferred Nadine each time. Gave her things to Nadine. Gave her the least because of Nadine and didn't take her out sometimes because of Nadine. Maybe if she had kidney failure too, they would love her. She closed her eyes for two seconds, opened them back and a big car approached her, madine tried the break but it didn't work, her heart beat scaled and fear covered her whole body. Her hands shook as she was faced with death, she turned the car and it hit a tree which sent her to an unconscious state after she hit her head against the stirring wheel.

I spent four hours preparing a five-course meal for our fifth anniversary. When Jackson finally walked into the penthouse an hour late, he didn't even look at the table. He just dropped a thick Manila envelope in front of me and told me he was done. He said his stepsister, Davida, was getting worse and needed "stability." I wasn't his wife; I was a placeholder, a temporary fix he used until the woman he actually loved was ready to take my place. Jackson didn't just want a divorce; he wanted to erase me. He called me a "proprietary asset," claiming that every design I had created to save his empire belonged to him. He froze my bank accounts, cut off my phone, and told me I’d be nothing without his name. Davida even called me from her hospital bed to flaunt the family heirloom ring Jackson claimed was lost, mocking me for being "baggage" that was finally being cleared out. I stood in our empty home, realizing I had spent five years being a martyr for a man who saw me as a transaction. I couldn't understand how he could be so blind to the monster he was protecting, or how he could discard me so coldly after I had given him everything. I grabbed my hidden sketchbook, shredded our wedding portrait, and walked out into the rain. I dialed a number I hadn't touched in years—a dangerous man known as The Surgeon who dealt in debts and shadows. I told him I was ready to pay his price. Jackson and Davida wanted to steal my identity, but I was about to show the world the literal scars they had left behind.

I Slapped My Fiancé-Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

Being second best is practically in my DNA. My sister got the love, the attention, the spotlight. And now, even her damn fiancé. Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now-billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn't mind. I'd crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one? Wrong. One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That's when it hit me-he didn't love me. He didn't even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn't even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup. So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster-my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise. Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol. Enter him. Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I'd met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes. It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised. But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life. And, as it turned out, the best decision I'd ever made. Because my one-night stand isn't just some random guy. He's richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with. And now, he's not letting me go.

I lay paralyzed on stiff white sheets, a prisoner in my own skin, listening to the rain lash against the window like nails on a coffin. My father, Elmore Franco, didn't even look at my face as he checked his clipboard. He just listened to the steady, monotonous beep of the heart monitor-the only thing proving I was still alive. Without a hint of remorse, he pulled a pen from his pocket and signed the Do Not Resuscitate order. My stepmother, Ophelia, stepped out from behind him, wearing my favorite pearl necklace and smelling of cloying perfume. She leaned close to my ear to whisper the truth that turned my blood to ice. "It was the tea, darling. Just like your mother. A slow, tasteless poison." She chuckled as she revealed that my fiancé, Bryce, had a two-year-old son with my sister, Daniela. My inheritance had been funding their secret life for years, and now that the money was secure, I was an inconvenience they were finally scrubbing away. As my father yanked the power cord from the wall, the beeping died, and the darkness swallowed me whole. I was being murdered by my own flesh and blood, used as a bank account until I was no longer needed. I died in that sterile room, drowning in the realization that every person I ever loved was a monster who had been waiting for me to take my last breath. Then, I gasped. I woke up in a luxury hotel suite surrounded by silk sheets, five years in the past-the very morning of my wedding. Next to me lay Basile Delgado, the "Wolf of Wall Street" and my family's most dangerous enemy. In my first life, I ran from this room in a panic and lost everything. This time, I looked at the man who would eventually destroy my father's empire and decided to join him. "I'm not leaving, Basile. Marry me. Right now. Today."
