Chapter 1 SYNOPSIS

Synopsis

Everything that she could remember was that she had dropped dead and fell face first at the grand staircase that she was descending.

Cause of death? unknown

She thought she would be going straight to the reincarnation pool at the heavens, but who would have thought that she had already used up her 10 lifetimes, and each life ended with her suddenly dying at the same age of 25. And each time, she would have no idea how she died.

Aggrieved, wronged and unwilling!

Who wouldn't be? On her quest to discover the reasons for her sudden deaths, she found herself at Afterlife's front desk, given a task by the crazy woman in bright yellow lipstick.

"If you manage to finish this certain task you will be given clues as to how and what caused your death" the woman said and went back to puckering her lips and putting on her lipstick.

Although she was annoyed, she silently left and embarked on a journey.

Risking her safety, picking up demons, angels, beasts and alike during her quest.

After finishing her quest, she went back to the crazy woman and found her putting on lipsticks, but this time she is using neon green. INSANE!

"Oh, it's the unfortunate soul" the woman uttered.

"I finished the tasks"

"Hmm, Welcome to the afterlife and congratulations for leveling up as a Prophet, now go back and look at the administrations office, pick up missions and level up, if you get lucky, you will become a Goddess."

WHAT?!

Where the hell are the clues? How did she die? Why?

"My clues? What the-"

"You will know once you have enough authority, level up first"

Afterlife is a scam! What peaceful life? They are just forcing her to take up missions, risk safety, battle monsters, and everytime she plans to run away from everything, a hot walking statue would forcefully bring her back, give her armor and things she would need for her mission.

This is slavery! All I ever wanted was to know why I died?!

Amidst her suffering, A scary and handsome war God dressed himself as a fox like cat and deliberately taunts her and seduces her.

"Afterlife is boring, amuse me"

"no"

"I'm bored, dance for me"

"no"

"hey there unfortunate soul, why don't you try to die, maybe there is and after-afterlife to afterlife" the man then gave her a toothy grin and when she was about to throw the map she is holding to him, he turned into a furry fox-cat and taunted her by flicking his fluffy and long tails to her face.

"WHY DON'T YOU JUST DISAPPEAR?!" irritated, she pulled her hair and grunted.

...

After thousands of years doing missions, leveling up, fighting monsters and stuff, she finally became a Goddess, excited as to finally, she could take a rest.

"Go to these worlds, do tasks, save planets, conquer tribes, build things etc. Do something, earn respect from the undead, and gather believers among the living."

"When will this end?" exhausted, she slumped on the table and felt the urge to cry.

"Move!" someone, please help me.

"Lucien, let's get a divorce," I said in a peremptory tone that was long overdue, the most decisive farewell to this absurd marriage. We had been married for exactly three years-three years that, for me, were filled with nothing but endless loneliness and torment. For three years, the husband who should have stood by my side through every storm, Lucien Sullivan, had completely disappeared from my life as if he had never existed. He vanished without a trace, leaving me alone to endure this empty, desolate marriage. Today, I finally received his message: "I'm back. Come pick me up at the airport." When I read his words, my heart leapt with joy, and I raced to the airport, thinking that he finally understood my love and was coming back to me. But his cruelty was far worse than I could have ever imagined-he was accompanied by a pregnant woman, and that woman was Carla, my closest and most trusted friend. In that moment, all of my previous excitement, all my hope, and all of our shared laughter and tears turned into the sharpest of daggers, stabbing into my heart and leaving me gasping for air. Now, all I want is to escape from this place that has left me so broken-to lick my wounds in solitude. Even if these wounds will remain with me for the rest of my life, I refuse to have anything to do with him ever again. He should know that it was his own hand that trampled our love underfoot, that his coldness and betrayal created this irreparable situation. But when he heard those words, he desperately clung to this broken, crumbling marriage, unwilling to let it end-almost as though doing so could rewind time and return everything to how it used to be. "Aurora, come back. I regret everything!" Regret? Those simple words stirred no emotion in me-only endless sadness and fury. My heart let out a frantic, desperate scream: It's too late for any of this!
