Chapter 1 Episode 1

Addicted To Him (His touch gives her Joy

In a large room, which looks like a meeting room.

There was a struck of silence in the room, everyone kept staring at each other, they were so sure that something was wrong.

"Is she having trouble sleeping?" One of the staffs in the room muttered in a very low tone.

"I don't think so, she might be going through an heartbreak" another added.

"What is the big deal about it, she experience heartbreaks every freaking month"

"Do I care, that doesn't stop her from paying me at the end of the month so keep your mouth shut and face what concerns you" a lady, gorgeously dressed snapped at the other's and they rolled her eyes at her.

Always acting like a boss- one of them thought

"Ma'am?" A lady in a blue dress moved closer to the beautiful lady seating in the middle on the cabinet.

"Ma'am?" She called again but she doesn't respond, rather, she didn't hear her.

"Natasha?!" The lady called out angrily, removing the respect from her name and she jolted out of her deep thoughts.

"Oh my God!, I'm so sorry, I..." She stopped, rubbing her face and her face was swollen because of what just flashed through her.

"Ivy?" Lisa called out to the the lady who cut in her thought earlier.

"Finish this up, I'm tired" she mumbled into her ears and got up from the chair, whilst picking up her purse from the table.

"The gossip gangs?, Don't forget to go to the disciplinary office to write down what you gossiped about me" she mumbled when she got to the door.

Holy fuck!, Did she hear them?

"I heard every single thing, don't miss it out when writing it" she scoffed and left them to solve the rest amongst themselves

Who's this lady?

Well, her name is Natasha, the most beautiful being you'll ever know, she's a badass, doesn't care about who she talks to or insult and you definitely can't offend her and go Scott free.

Even though she was thinking so deeply, she could still hear what other's in the same room didn't hear, that's Natasha for you.

She's the CEO of Goldline company and was in the middle of a meeting with her staffs when she suddenly drives back into what she saw earlier on Instagram.

**

"Natasha?" Ivy called, dropping the file angrily on the table.

You could call Ivy her best friend, or the only friend she had had her whole life, Ivy is also her Personal assistant.

"What's it?, Is the meeting done?" She tilt her head, removing her jacket and she jumps on the couch.

"No it's not, do you think I'll be here if I don't end the meeting with your crazy employees?" Ivy arched her brows, rolling her eyes as she takes a seat beside Natasha.

"Our crazy employees, half of them were actually signed in by you" she retorted but glanced away immediately after getting a hard glare from her friend.

"What's wrong with you?, Do I need to take you for a check up?" Ivy asked, dragging her up.

"I'm okay, I was jus.." she stopped halfway, not sure if she could let this out.

Of course, her friend was going to find out whatever it's she was hiding, just not sure if she wants her to know yet.

"It's fine if you wanna pile it up in your tummy, I'm meeting up with Jackson" Ivy smiled and tried walking out.

"During working hours?" Natasha snapped, her eyes half opened.

"If you know how you're looking so scary right now, you would get into the bathroom, wash your face and get a good sleep, instead of poke nosing in someone's else relationship life" ivy snapped at her and she pout her lips in embarrassment.

Whatever, relationship isn't for her.

After Ivy left her office to meet her boyfriend, she walked into the bathroom, still not sure if she could believe what ivy said about her face looking scary.

"Oh my God!" She screamed, realizing how her face looks so swollen..

"Wait, something has to be wrong with this mirror, I didn't cry, why's my face like this?- she thought, touching every inch of her face.

She rushed out of the bathroom and went to the calling center to connect to her service girls..

"Hello ma'am, this is H..

"Just cut it off with the introduction, bye" she ended the call abruptly, felt like throwing the phone against the wall.

Did she just call to say that?

I actually want them to have a look at how I look but when the light on the phone screen went off, she knew her friend was saying the truth.

**

"Trevor!" A tiny looking lady called, seeing someone she's seen for a while.

"Wait, do you know me?" He snapped at her, stopping right in front of her.

"Of.. course..I do, why do you think I'll call you if I don't know you?" She giggles.

"Well, you might have a whole lots of reasons to, maybe you need some cash or you want me to fu*k you" he smirks, moving closer to her and the girl landed a hot slap on his cheeks.

"Oh my god!, Did I just slap Trevor?" She quizzed rhetorically and he watched her in annoyance.

If he could just grasp her tiny neck and swap it to the left, she'll be long gone.

"Someone's gotta be crazy for dating a cheap mini beast like you!" She snorts at him and tried walking away but gets pulled back by someone.

"Iv.." she didn't finish her sentence when a slap landed on her face.

People around were starting to think that they were into a slapping competition, of course, anyone would think like that.

"Who's crazy?, My friend is crazy?" Ivy half yelled, holding her by her collar.

"She's, do you want me to say it again?, I was only trying to get close and he labeled me like a slut" she defended.

"Then you should have just insulted him alone, why drag Natasha into it?" She scowl at her but all she did was rolled her eyes.

"I'm not ready for you, hey, what are you doing here?" Ivy turned to Trevor who seems to be holding his cheeks from the slap he got from the lady.

"Is there a restriction order that says I can't come in here?" He quizzed, glaring at her.

"Well, there's not, but, we might make it because of people like you" she taunted.

"Looking at you close up, you look more beautiful than I thought" he smirks, peering into her eyes.

Can this man ever change?- she thought, waiting patiently for him to touch his cheeks so she could show her what she's capable of doing.

"Argghh!!" He suddenly cried out in pain, he crouched down to the floor, his right hand on his thigh as he cries out in pain.

"Natasha?" Ivy gasp out in shock at her friends sudden appearance.

"You can file a complaint that I hurt you, you'll end up losing the case at the end, Ivy let's go" she said and swirl to leave, living Trevor in a stupefied state.

Today is October 14th, my birthday. I returned to New York after months away, dragging my suitcase through the biting wind, but the VIP pickup zone where my husband’s Maybach usually idled was empty. When I finally let myself into our Upper East Side penthouse, I didn’t find a cake or a "welcome home" banner. Instead, I found my husband, Caden, kneeling on the floor, helping our five-year-old daughter wrap a massive gift for my half-sister, Adalynn. Caden didn’t even look up when I walked in; he was too busy laughing with the girl who had already stolen my father’s legacy and was now moving in on my family. "Auntie Addie is a million times better than Mommy," my daughter Elara chirped, clutching a plush toy Caden had once forbidden me from buying for her. "Mommy is mean," she whispered loudly, while Caden just smirked, calling me a "drill sergeant" before whisking her off to Adalynn’s party without a second glance. Later that night, I saw a video Adalynn posted online where my husband and child laughed while mocking my "sensitive" nature, treating me like an inconvenient ghost in my own home. I had spent five years researching nutrition for Elara’s health and managing every detail of Caden’s empire, only to be discarded the moment I wasn't in the room. How could the man who set his safe combination to my birthday completely forget I even existed? The realization didn't break me; it turned me into ice. I didn't scream or beg for an explanation. I simply walked into the study, pulled out the divorce papers I’d drafted months ago, and took a black marker to the terms. I crossed out the alimony, the mansion, and even the custody clause—if they wanted a life without me, I would give them exactly what they asked for. I left my four-carat diamond ring on the console table and walked out into the rain with nothing but a heavily encrypted hard drive. The submissive Mrs. Holloway was gone, and "Ghost," the most lethal architect in the tech world, was finally back online to take back everything they thought I’d forgotten.

One Night With My Billionaire Boss

I woke up on silk sheets that smelled of expensive cedar and cold sandalwood, a world away from my cramped apartment in Brooklyn. Beside me lay Ezra Gardner—my boss, the billionaire CEO of Gardner Holdings, and the man who could end my career with a snap of his fingers. He didn’t offer an apology for the night before; instead, he looked at me with terrifying clarity and proposed a cold, calculated business arrangement. "Marriage. It stabilizes the board and solves the PR crisis before it begins." He dressed me in archival Chanel and sent me home in his Maybach, but my life was already falling apart. My boyfriend, Irving, claimed he had passed out early, yet his location data placed him at my best friend’s apartment until three in the morning. When I tried to run, I realized Ezra was already ten steps ahead, tracking my movements and uncovering the secret I’d spent twenty years hiding: my connection to the powerful Senator Grimes. I was trapped between a CEO who treated me like a line item on a quarterly report and a boyfriend who had been using me while sleeping with my closest friend. I felt like a pawn in a game I didn't understand, wondering why a man like Ezra would walk up forty flights of stairs on a broken leg just to make sure I was safe. "Showtime, Mrs. Gardner." Standing on the red carpet in a gown that cost more than my life, I watched my cheating ex-boyfriend’s face turn pale as Ezra claimed me in front of the world. I wasn't just an assistant anymore; I was a weapon, and it was time to burn their world down.

I had been a wife for exactly six hours when I woke up to the sound of my husband’s heavy breathing. In the dim moonlight of our bridal suite, I watched Hardin, the man I had adored for years, intertwined with my sister Carissa on the chaise lounge. The betrayal didn't come with an apology. Hardin stood up, unashamed, and sneered at me. "You're awake? Get out, you frumpy mute." Carissa huddled under a throw, her fake tears already welling up as she played the victim. They didn't just want me gone; they wanted me erased to protect their reputations. When I refused to move, my world collapsed. My father didn't offer a shoulder to cry on; he threatened to have me committed to a mental asylum to save his business merger. "You're a disgrace," he bellowed, while the guards stood ready to drag me away. They had spent my life treating me like a stuttering, submissive pawn, and now they were done with me. I felt a blinding pain in my skull, a fracture that should have broken me. But instead of tears, something dormant and lethal flickered to life. The terrified girl who walked down the aisle earlier that day simply ceased to exist. In her place, a clinical system—the Valkyrie Protocol—booted up. My racing heart plummeted to a steady sixty beats per minute. I didn't scream. I stood up, my spine straightening for the first time in twenty years, and looked at Hardin with the detachment of a surgeon looking at a tumor. "Correction," I said, my voice stripped of its stutter. "You're in my light." By dawn, I had drained my father's accounts, vanished into a storm, and found a bleeding Crown Prince in a hidden safehouse. They thought they had broken a mute girl. They didn't realize they had just activated their own destruction.
