Chapter 1 The long awaited proposal

Vincy is in hurry that she was asked to leave for her how as soon as she finishes her interview.

In the morning, Vincy was anxious as she have to perform well in today's interview. She was long awaiting for this day since she graduated. For her, being in a interview is not less that a battlefield. She tried her best to give the best of her.

With no regrets as soon as the interview finished she took the next bus from capital city to her hometown. To reach there it will at least take 8-9 hours. When she boarded the bus, for her surprise her seat was next to her college friend's friend, Harrison Man , with whom she barely spoke in the entire four years of Engineering.

" Hi", she greeted with a genuine smile,

" Hi" He replied.

And there ends their regular conversations

They don't expected this meeting as the last time they met was at the last day of college. It's been two years.

He started, " So going to home.?"

" Yes, How about you. "

" Actually, to home but my parents called and asked me to come to City A, By the way if I am not wrong you are from the same city right."

" Yes, So that means our destination is same."

"Like so..."

And again began a prolonged silence....

To break the ackward silence,Vincy An, started

" How was your days in Canada? Did your course period ended."

" That was amazing. Almost got over . only Two more months to finish of the course ."

" So what's the next plan?"

" Not at all decided. How about you? When I last checked on you you said you want a break to start a career. How is it going?"

" I took a year long break to figure out what I actually wanna be; This entire year made me realize that a small comfortable job will satisfy me and in the meantime I began to write stories;Started a tech blog ; Today was my interview. I felt I gave the fullest. Let's wait and see."

" Did you planned to marry? Don't take it wrong I just asked out of curiosity since our friends are getting married."

" I don't take it wrong. To answer your question, Currently I have no plans on getting married."

" ohh, Do you have a boyfriend."

" Do you think I have one. No."

" So what about you?"

"Me, I like some one bit I afraid to let her know since she is a good friend. Don't you have someone you like?"

"Do you want me to be honest?"

" Yes"

" See I am saying this as you asked me. I don't want to lose this to affect our friendship at any cost. The person I like is actually you.

I know we are poles apart and you see me as a Friend bit I just can't help from falling for you."

" Who said I regard you as a Friend. You had never been in my friend zone. I love you since our first meeting."

" But relationship between us won't work out well. We are different person with different opinions."

" We can't say what universe have for us."

" So what you mean is let's give a try. But if it didn't work out well, Then we will be friends till the end."

That whole journey just went in understanding and get knowing each other.
