Hades' Bride Chapter 1 ONE

Drottningholm Palace Sweden

December 13, 1890

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here in the sight of God, and in the face of this company, to join together this Man and this Woman in holy Matrimony; which is an honourable estate; instituted of God, signifying unto us the mystical union, which is holy estate Christ adorned and beautified with his presence and first miracle that he wrought in Cana of Galilee, and is commended of Saint Paul to be honourable among all men: and therefore is not by any to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly; but revently, discreetly, advisedly, soberly, and in the fear of God. Into this holy estate these two persons present come now to be joined. If any man can show just cause, why they may not lawfully be joined together, let him now speak, or else hereafter for ever hold his peace"

"I require and charge you both, as ye will answer at the dreadful day of judgement when the secrets of all hearts shall be disclosed, that if either of you know any impediment, why ye may not be lawfully joined together in Matrimony, ye do now confess it. For be ye well assured, that if any persons are joined together other than as God's word doth allow, their marriage is not lawful"

"Prince Hades Alexander Damon thou have this woman thy wedded wife, to live together after God's ordinance in the holy estate of Matrimony? Will thou love her, comfort her, honour, and keep her in sickness and in health; and, forsaking a others, keep thee only unto her, so long as ye both shall live?"

"I do"

"Princess Ysabella Dawn Clesten thou have this man thy wedded husband, to live together after God's ordinance in the holy estate of Matrimony? Wilt thou love him, comfort him, honour and keep him in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, keep thee only unto him, so long as ye both shall live?"

"I do"

"With this Ring I thee wed: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit Amen"

"With this ring, I Prince Hades Alexander, take you Princess Ysabella Dawn, to be my beloved for the rest of my life. As I stand by your side, it is with the knowledge that our lives together will realize the promises that we have made today, and it is to this future that I humbly submit. I submit my life even in afterlife I will take you in my arms even if I die. I ask everyone present to witness that I take you as my partner in marriage. Today I become your husband and you become my wife. I promise to respect you as a whole person with your own interests, desire, and needs, and to realize that those are sometimes different, but no less important than my own. I will help you raise our children to become loving people, and support you in the fundamental role of parent.

In this beautiful palace I dedicate myself to you. Although our lives may change like the seasons, I will love you. As our love grows like a seed to a beautiful flower, I will love you. When the winds of doubt blow through, I will love you. We will stand together, strong, nurtured by each others love until the end.

All that I have, All that I am, All that I will ever be is yours. Forever."

"I Princess Ysabella Dawn affirm my love to you, Prince Hades Alexander as I invite you to share my life. I vow to trust you and respect you, tell the truth and embrace you, everyday. All the time and always, I vow to honor and protect you, encourage and celebrate you, everyday. All the time and always. Today I take you to be my husband. Together we will create a home, becoming a part of one another. I vow to help create a life that we can cherish, inspring your love for me and mine for you. I vow to be honest, caring and truthful, to love you as you are and not as I want you to be, and to grow old by your side as your love and best friend. On this day, I give you my heart, my promise, that I will walk with you, hand in hand, wherever, our journey leads us, living, learning, loving, together. Forever."

"Forasmush as Prince Hades and Princess Ysabelle have consented together in holy wedlock, and have witnessed the same before God and this company, and therto have given and pledged their troth, and have declared the same by giving and receiving a Ring and by joining hands; I pronounce that they are Man and Wife, In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. You may now kiss the Bride.

December 13, 1891

Friday 12:31 am

The dark sky seemed to have a thunderstorm nearing yet the midst of air was subtle. The darkness of the December has it's betraying shadows concealing predators intended brutality and disasters. This year had been a catastrophe since King Helios arrived, for he thinks Prince Hades stole his woman. King Helios declared war and until now all of his people even innocent children stunned in his mess, in his war.

His anger reached its peak because even the poor people were dying for him.

"Prince Hades your carriage awaits, " a young soldier approaches him while a man in a red coat suddenly walks towards him.

"Prince I was asked to give you this letter and only you can read this, " fogs under his breath exhaled.

"Who gives you this letter, why they didn't send it to me personally if this is much important?"

"The letter will answer you, " he answered while giving him a sly smile and turn his heels and left.

Slowly he read the red clay that stamp the letter 'infernum' alas Prince Hades knows who wrote him the letter, it is no other than King Helios his great contender.

Leisurely he opens the letter and his eyes widen at what he had read and briskly find the man in a red coat who had given him the letter. His eyes go dark and his knuckles turn white. He gritted his teeth and cursed under his breath.

'She tastes so good

She tastes so right

She's too delicate

But I can handle her so tight

She moves a little

She will die

You move a little

Both of you will die

Run run run your kingdom

Run run run your people

What a music in my ears of her moan

What a piece of music in my ears of her pleading

What a music in my ears as she yelp in agony

I love watching your little wife.

Come and see me Hades

"No, not my wife, you have to kill me first before you can hurt and get my wife, " he muttered under his breath and within just a moment a man with a silver sword was slowly approaching him.

"King Helios, " he gritted his teeth while while he's giving him a sly smile.

"It's twelve in the night Prince, it is such a catastrophe for you to be here at this time. May I know why?" he arched his brow as he lit a cigar he is holding.

"It is none of your business, it doesn't bother me what time is it. I am the one who runs my time, " he muttered under his breath and a cold fog escape every time he breaths.

"No wonder your little wife is alone, " he sarcastically stated pertaining to his wife.

"What are you talking about?" he gritted his teeth.

"Nothing, I just wanted to get what I own, you'll see, " a vicious smile crossed in his lips together with sword he is holding.

"You bastard, you don't own anything!"

"How are you sure of that my prince?"

"I'm going to get your head off, but I hope not."

Scream covered the whole place as Prince Hades look at his chest that was stabbed by King Helios sword.

Blood was dripping.

Raspy voice was moaning.

"I will come back...and in afterlife you will see yours..." Prince Hades lastly said and lost consciousness.

"Hope is a bitch."

Being second best is practically in my DNA. My sister got the love, the attention, the spotlight. And now, even her damn fiancé. Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now-billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn't mind. I'd crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one? Wrong. One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That's when it hit me-he didn't love me. He didn't even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn't even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup. So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster-my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise. Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol. Enter him. Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I'd met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes. It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised. But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life. And, as it turned out, the best decision I'd ever made. Because my one-night stand isn't just some random guy. He's richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with. And now, he's not letting me go.

Today is October 14th, my birthday. I returned to New York after months away, dragging my suitcase through the biting wind, but the VIP pickup zone where my husband’s Maybach usually idled was empty. When I finally let myself into our Upper East Side penthouse, I didn’t find a cake or a "welcome home" banner. Instead, I found my husband, Caden, kneeling on the floor, helping our five-year-old daughter wrap a massive gift for my half-sister, Adalynn. Caden didn’t even look up when I walked in; he was too busy laughing with the girl who had already stolen my father’s legacy and was now moving in on my family. "Auntie Addie is a million times better than Mommy," my daughter Elara chirped, clutching a plush toy Caden had once forbidden me from buying for her. "Mommy is mean," she whispered loudly, while Caden just smirked, calling me a "drill sergeant" before whisking her off to Adalynn’s party without a second glance. Later that night, I saw a video Adalynn posted online where my husband and child laughed while mocking my "sensitive" nature, treating me like an inconvenient ghost in my own home. I had spent five years researching nutrition for Elara’s health and managing every detail of Caden’s empire, only to be discarded the moment I wasn't in the room. How could the man who set his safe combination to my birthday completely forget I even existed? The realization didn't break me; it turned me into ice. I didn't scream or beg for an explanation. I simply walked into the study, pulled out the divorce papers I’d drafted months ago, and took a black marker to the terms. I crossed out the alimony, the mansion, and even the custody clause—if they wanted a life without me, I would give them exactly what they asked for. I left my four-carat diamond ring on the console table and walked out into the rain with nothing but a heavily encrypted hard drive. The submissive Mrs. Holloway was gone, and "Ghost," the most lethal architect in the tech world, was finally back online to take back everything they thought I’d forgotten.

My five-year-old daughter was turning blue in my arms, her body rigid with a 104-degree fever. I called my billionaire husband, Clifton, dozens of times as I rushed to the hospital, but he declined every single call. While I was screaming at doctors and fighting to save our child’s life, a news alert flashed on my phone. Clifton was at the Met Gala, looking devastatingly handsome as he intimately draped his tuxedo jacket over the shoulders of his mistress, Eleanora. The nightmare didn't end at the hospital. Clifton used a secret clause in our prenup to snatch Lily from her bed and move her to a private facility without my consent. When I finally found her, my own daughter shrank away from me in terror. "Go away, bad Mommy!" she sobbed, while the mistress fed her oatmeal and whispered that I was the one who made the doctors hurt her. Clifton stood by and watched, telling me I was too "hysterical" to be a mother. But then I discovered the real reason they were hiding her. My husband was illegally using my late mother’s rare bone marrow samples to treat Eleanora’s secret blood disorder. Now that those samples are failing, he is taking Lily to a secluded castle in Germany to harvest our daughter’s marrow for his mistress. I sat in the dark, watching them play happy family with the child they plan to sacrifice. I realized then that my marriage wasn't just a lie—it was a biological harvest. They think I’m just a broken trophy wife who doesn't understand the science they are using to destroy me. They have no idea that I am "Ghost," the anonymous medical genius behind the very research they are trying to steal. As we board the private jet to Germany, I’ve stopped crying and started calculating. If they want to play with life and death, I’ll show them exactly what happens when a mother stops being a victim and starts being a predator.

For seven years, I drank the bitter tonic my fiancé, Alpha Adrian, gave me, believing it would cure my "wolfless" defect. I was wrong. It was poison. He wasn't trying to heal me; he was keeping me weak so he could replace me with my foster sister, Ariel. When the fire consumed the Alpha's Wing, I was trapped under a burning beam, my legs crushed. Adrian kicked down the door. I reached out to him, screaming for help. But he didn't look at me. He looked at Ariel, who was lying on the floor in a silk nightgown. He scooped her up, cradling her like she was the only thing that mattered. I begged him not to leave me. Instead of helping, he used his Alpha Command on me, his voice booming with supernatural weight. "Stay put! I'll be back for you!" It was a lie. He used his power to freeze me in the inferno and left me to burn alive. I survived, only to watch him publicly reject me for her the next day, with my own father's blessing. They called me a "genetic dead end." They thought I would crawl away and die in shame. I didn't. I limped up the mountain to the Neutral Lands to find the one man everyone fears-the exiled Alpha, Garth Morgan. "I have the Gamma Bloodline Scroll," I told the massive figure emerging from the shadows. "I don't want your gratitude," Garth growled, his eyes like storm clouds. "I'm not here for gratitude," I replied, staring him down. "I'm here to make a deal with the devil."
