The Relationship Contract Chapter 1 Just an ordinary girl

I was a sunny afternoon, Here I was laying with my top off, The heat was something I couldn't understand, It seemed to multiply as the hours went by, I groaned as I tried to fan myself. The doorbell had started to go off continuously and I groaned, struggling to get off the bed, The ringing wouldn't stop but I knew who it was, It was Lisa! My bestie That girl had zero patience I ran as fast as i could from my bedroom hastily dragging a top over my head.

"I'm coming i screamed at the door" why in the world can't she be patient, I mean i could hear her ring the bell "Lisa! What the hell!!" I yelled and let her in, She came in grinning sheepishly at me, I seemed to forget what I was going to say as I looked at her, she was dressed rather gorgeously. She had a short blue mini skirt and pink crop top on, matching it with white sneakers Lisa has always been a beauty guru, with her long blonde hair graciously flowing behind her and her bright blue eyes shinning, and her long legs with the perfect shape. She just seemed to get it right. I mean many at times would we go out and it just seemed like I was invisible next to her with they way the guys rush her but I mean, I wasn't jealous or anything, I was proud I had such a beautiful person I called my best friend. Lisa wasn't just beautiful physically but she had the most beautiful and amazing soul ever, I mean that lady would literally try to see the good in everyone that it pissed me the fuck off. She settled into the couch, and I started to wiggle my eyebrows, She raised her eyebrows as she watched me do my thing "Whats the occasion?" She smiled and blushed "i am going out on a date with mason" I squealed with delight as I heard her, Lisa had been crushing on Mason since forever and it just seemed as though he had a blindfold covered in his eyes, I mean who wouldn't love Lisa! So I chipped in and played the Matchmaker with them. "why didn't you tell me earlier? "I asked She smiled shyly " I didn't know how to, but how do you think i look" I took a second look at her "Girl, Mason isn't going to be able to take his eyes off you" I tell her, I mean I wasn't even lying, She looked so damn good even I couldn't take my eyes off her She smiles and blushed deeper, Her phone beeped and she brought it out of her bag to check it, I could see her smiling, She looked up from her phone "l I'll be out in a minute, he's picking me up" I smiled and walked her to the door blowing her air kisses, i watched as she hopped into the car that pulls up on the driveway I felt slightly sad for myself, I am Kimberly Blake I'm 5'4ft, hazel eyes with a full plump lips. I am a brunette with naturally long curly hair, I have a fairly good skin but I mean, I have to work to take care of my expenses here that I have no extra time to do all the ladies stuff, Lisa has literally been begging me to take a break but I do Not have that liberty. I am a 21 year old college student and a part time waitress, I literally have no social life. Single with no hopes of getting a boyfriend, I sighed as I walked into my tiny kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water and went back to my room. I spent the whole day reading as my final exams were approaching, Like I mentioned earlier, I have no social life well at least I won't have to worry about college after my graduation, I pulled off my top again and checked my phone for any new messages but as always NONE, I mean I keep forgetting about my nonexistent social life that I expect messages. I sighed and dropped my phone on the bed, concentrating back on my studies. The next morning I over slept, I immediately checked my alarm to see if it was broken but it wasn't, So how the hell did I over sleep.? I checked the time and saw that it was past eight "Oh no, Oh no, Oh no!" I muttered like a chant and hurriedly stripped off my clothes, stepping into the bathroom to have my bath, I didn't even know when exactly it was that I slept off all I can remember is waking up now. I had a cold bath and walked out of the bathroom, bringing out a faded jeans and a white top, I tied my hair into a bun and grabbed my bag from the couch, I didn't have the time to get something to eat as I made my way to the door. "Oh my car keys" I rushed back to get it from the table and ran out. I made my way into my car and drove off to college I was definitely going to hear it from Miss Candice!

Rain hammered against the asphalt as my sedan spun violently into the guardrail on the I-95. Blood trickled down my temple, stinging my eyes, while the rhythmic slap of the windshield wipers mocked my panic. Trembling, I dialed my husband, Clive. His executive assistant answered instead, his voice professional and utterly cold. "Mr. Wilson says to stop the theatrics. He said, and I quote, 'Hang up. Tell her I don’t have time for her emotional blackmail tonight.'" The line went dead while I was still trapped in the wreckage. At the hospital, I watched the news footage of Clive wrapping his jacket around his "fragile" ex-girlfriend, Angelena, shielding her from the storm I was currently bleeding in. When I returned to our penthouse, I found a prenatal ultrasound in his suit pocket, dated the day he claimed to be on a business trip. Instead of an apology, Clive met me with a sneer. He told me I was nothing but an "expensive decoration" his father bought to make him look stable. He froze my bank accounts and cut off my cards, waiting for the hunger to drive me back to his feet. I stared at the man I had loved for four years, realizing he didn't just want a wife; he wanted a prop he could switch off. He thought he could starve me into submission while he played father to another woman's child. But Clive forgot one thing. Before I was his trophy wife, I was Starfall—the legendary voice actress who vanished at the height of her fame. "I'm not jealous, Clive. I'm done." I grabbed my old microphone and walked out. I’m not just leaving him; I’m taking the lead role in the biggest saga in Hollywood—the one Angelena is desperate for. This time, the "decoration" is going to burn his world down.

I sat on the edge of the examination table, the crinkle of the sanitary paper sounding like thunder in the sterile room. The doctor didn't even look at me as he confirmed the news: the pregnancy was over. My husband, Keyon, didn't answer my call. He just sent an automated text: "In a meeting." When I returned to our cold mansion, I found his iPad glowing with a message from his "muse," Katina. He was throwing her a secret gala tonight-on our third wedding anniversary. He told her he couldn't wait to escape the "boring" and "draining" atmosphere I created at home. Keyon didn't stumble in until 3 AM, smelling of Katina's perfume with a smear of red on his collar. When I handed him the divorce papers, he laughed in my face. He called me a "glorified housekeeper" with no skills and no future, promising I'd be back in three days begging for a subway ticket. He even bet his friends ten thousand dollars that I wouldn't survive a week without his name. He had his assistant cancel my credit cards and block my gate access before I even reached the end of the driveway. He wanted me to starve. He wanted me to crawl. He sat in his office, mocking the "desperate" woman who pawned her three-million-dollar wedding ring for scrap metal just to pay for a meal. I stood on the rainy curb, watching the man I had protected for three years treat my life like trash. He didn't know about the ultrasound I just threw in the bin. He didn't know that while he was calling me "dull," I was the one secretly writing the code that kept his billion-dollar empire from collapsing. As I slid into a cheap Uber, I opened a hidden, encrypted app on my phone. The screen refreshed to a dashboard for an account Keyon didn't know existed. The balance was ten figures long-the accumulated wealth of "Solaris," the world's most elusive tech genius. Keyon thinks he just evicted a parasite, but he's about to find out he just declared war on the only person who can hit "delete" on his entire life.
