Chapter 1 NO.1

Chad POV

"Yes Mason, we would be fine. We've been together for a year and a half now, we both want to go to university so we thought we may as well live in the same dorm" Lucy says to Mason, her older brother, for the tenth time.

"I know, I guess I'll just miss seeing your little face" Mason pouts, Lucy rolls her eyes at him, grabbing my hand as we head for the front door.

"I love you Mason, we will be back for the winter break before you know it" Lucy smiled her pretty smile. I would never get tired of seeing her smile, it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in the world.

"I love you too Lucy, take care of her Chad" mason smiled politely at me.

"You know I will" I return the smile before placing mine and Lucy's bag into the boot of the car.

After saying our last goodbyes to Mason and my mum, I begin to drive to the university that Lucy and I both loved.

After we finished school, Lucy and I took a gap year before deciding to go to university.

"I'm so excited" Lucy's eyes gleamed with happiness after I intertwined my fingers with her. I smile at how adorable she is, before I look back at the road.

"I am too, it's going to be stressful but we will manage" I say, we were planning on living together on campus, and I couldn't wait to live with Lucy. Even though we have pretty much been living together for the past year, Mason has always been there. It never was just us. Now, I couldn't wait to spend time with my beautiful girlfriend.

"We always do" She smiled in my direction. I lift her hand and kiss the back of it. She grinned widely and I smiled.

I turn on the radio, and turn it up when mine and Lucy's favourite song came on.

"Hey babe?" Lucy says, I look at her out of the corner of my eye before looking back at the road.

"Yeah" I ask.

"I love you" as always, those words made my heart flutter. I love when Lucy tells me she loves me. She said she never ever wanted me to forget that she did love me, but at the same time she didn't say it all the time because she didn't want the words to become meaningless- although I don't think they ever could. Everyone who even glanced at me could tell I was utterly and madly in love with Lucy.

"I love you too, baby" you could hear the smile in my voice. I smiled widely at the fact I'm going to be spending the next few years with my girl, alone. And I couldn't wait.

Little did I know of all the arguments and troubles a certain girl was going to cause for my love and I.

Sequel To "My Bestfriends, The Players And I". You should probably read that first but it isn't necessary but for it to make more sense. "So you know who I am then?" He asked, smirking. "Most people do. But yes, you're Kian Wilde. The Bad boy. The Player. The Heart breaker." I say and he smirked. "Nice to know what you think of me as" he says with a wink. "That isn't what I think of you" I smirk back, returning the wink. "What do you think of me then?" He asked with a small smirk. "Oh you know. It isn't what most of the girls would say." I say with a small giggle. His smirk widens. "I'd say you were an absolute asshole, A manwhore, A jerk who needs to learn that using girls gets you nowhere in life." I say giving him a sweet smile. The smirk on his face, dropped. Issabelle Evans. She is popular, she is pretty, she is nice. Being second best is practically in my DNA. My sister got the love, the attention, the spotlight. And now, even her damn fiancé. Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now-billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn't mind. I'd crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one? Wrong. One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That's when it hit me-he didn't love me. He didn't even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn't even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup. So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster-my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise. Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol. Enter him. Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I'd met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes. It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised. But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life. And, as it turned out, the best decision I'd ever made. Because my one-night stand isn't just some random guy. He's richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with. And now, he's not letting me go.
