Ryan brings Ariana to his pack, where she meets Roy, Ryan's younger brother and the Alpha. At first, Ariana sees Roy as kind, gentle, and caring-everything Ryan appears not to be, as Ryan seems ruthless and cold.
But as secrets unravel, Ariana discovers that appearances can be deceiving. She learns that Ryan's bloodthirsty behavior is the result of a terrible curse, and Roy may not be as noble as he seemed. Now, Ariana must decide who to trust-Roy, the Alpha who showed her kindness, or Ryan, the cursed Lycan with a hidden truth.
