I stared at Gary directly when I asked him this, and for the next few seconds, we were locked in a stare, either one of us not backing down. Gary finally scoffed and looked away from me. "I can't....I can't believe that you would think this way about me! You really think that I am cheating on you?" He snapped at me. "There is no need for you to raise your voice at me," I said calmly. "Well, if you really want to know, I am not cheating on you. I have never looked at another woman ever since we got married. I know how much I have to lose if I mess up so I won't do something so foolish!" Gary assured me. I still did not completely trust his words. He was a man. Why should I trust a man so blindly? "Well, I hope for your own sake that you are telling me the truth. I won't forgive you if you are lying to me!" I said firmly. "You know, your life would be so much easier if you trusted
