urrently laying down on her bed with her duvet covering her whole body , she was shivering seriously.She got a fever and couldn't attend school, she didn't want to seem like a Burden so she lied to Leviathan that she was fine.Her step mother , Mrs knight stormed inside she hatefully scoffed when she saw that Brittany was still laying on the bed and shivering like a drenched kitten.She removed the duvet away from Brittany's body and glared at her."I told you that we are expecting a guest why are you still laying down and not dressed yet ? " Mrs knight asked sternly."I am sick I don't have the energy to meet anyone " Brittany mumbled weakly and Mrs knight chuckled."I wasn't the one who asked you to get sick take two out of this pills and you will be fine don't let me come back and meet you here " Mrs knight warned then stepped out.Brittany took two of the pills that Mrs Knight had gave her and flushed it down with water.She didn't feel any better but she forced herself to go to the bathroom and shower to avoid getting beaten.~~Brittany walked into the dinning room with the help of one of the maid's , she frowned a little when she saw an old man sitting in the dining room with her dad and step mom.The maid helped her take her seat beside the old man and for some reason she cringed when he stared at her and smiled."Is he dad's business partner ? But why would dad want me to meet his business partner he is always embarrassed about me and would rather lock me up in a basement then let his business partner or any of his important client see me, what is going on ?
