IX – FRIE

If you don't trust me or think I may be one of them, I don't blame you. You're just scared. I'll help you get out of detention. Let me talk to the principal, I may be able to convince her to let you go. I'll be back before you can button your shirt", she said walking out of the room. Vicky looked at himself. He looked pretty rough. By the time he could raise his head, Maya had sauntered out of the room.Maya was the child her real mother never needed.; the evidence of her mistake. After she was born, her mother abandoned her by the roadside to continue living her life. She was left to die......Till Marie saw her. She had an adopted son already...Dave was his name. Naturally, she couldn't have children. What mother could leave her child with such reckless abandon? Before you asked how I convinced her, I told her I'd watch you for any further outbursts. So, think of me as your guardian angel in school now, okay?" She had this huge smile on her face that gave him hope. She was just nice for no reason. "Let's go. We have a lot to find out", Maya irked him. "Whatever you say ma'am", Vicky replied with a little smile. He walked towards the smiley angelic face standing at the door. "Thank you for helping me with this Maya", he said and found himself hugging her. There was something about her that made him trust her slightly. "It's okay, we will sort this out together, I promise", Maya responded. After Vicky got released from detention, he seemed more determined to
