The Rogue Prince
“Alpha Valdo emerged from the steaming bathroom, droplets of water still clinging to his chiseled physique. As he wrapped the plush towel around his waist, his gaze fell upon the figure lying amidst the rumpled sheets - his wife, Selena, utterly exposed and vulnerable. A flicker of uncertainty crossed his features. "Selena, what are you still doing here?" he asked, voice laced with a hint of bewilderment. She propped herself up on one elbow, her raven hair cascading over alabaster skin. "We're married, my love," she replied, a trace of confusion in her tone. "I thought we might... continue where we left off." Alpha's expression hardened as he turned away. "That was a mistake," he said coolly. "I was simply...indulging a momentary desire, nothing more." His eyes refused to meet hers as he spoke, a glimmer of regret flickering within their depths. Selena's heart plummeted, shattered by his callous dismissal of their union - the bond they had forged, the promises they had made. She was no mere plaything, but the woman he had vowed to cherish. Yet now, he treated her as if she were no more than a common whore, unworthy of his affection. Silently, she gathered the bedsheet around her trembling form and fled the room, leaving Alpha alone with the weight of his cruel words and the anguish he had inflicted upon his beloved.”
