He grabbed his phone and dialed his P.A.'s number. "Call that stupid old man and tell him he's got three days. If he doesn't deliver, I'm canceling that damn deal!" he yelled at his P.A.

It has to be the three of us signing, just like it says in the contract," He exclaimed, raising his voice at Mr. Edward. "I get it, Mr. George, but she's sick, that's why she couldn't make it today," Mr. Edward explained. "Well, then we'll just have to wait until she feels better. You can sign your part now, and when she's back and signs her part, you'll get the credited ," George proposed confidently. Mr. Edward fell silent, unsure of what to do next. Listen, I'm not gonna force it. If this contract isn't gonna work out, let's just forget about it," George said, a mischievous smirk appearing on his face."No...no, I'll sign my part, and I'll make sure she comes tomorrow to sign hers," Mr. Edward agreed, feeling a bit pressured. Mr Edward stormed out of the office, frustration etched on his face. As he stepped onto the bustling city streets, his mind raced with thoughts of how to convince Lisa to come and sign the papers the next day. Lisa's POV She woke up with a heavy heart, still feeling the cold tension between her and her father after their argument. She couldn't believe that he was threatening to disown her over the contract marriage. Determined to resolve the situation, she decided to go and sign the papers at the company. As Lisa arrived at the office, she brushed past the secretary, her mind consumed by the weight of the situation. She marched straight into the CEO's office, not bothering to exchange pleasantries or even acknowledge his presence. Minutes ticked by in silence, tension filling the room. Finally, unable to bear the silence any longer, Lisa spoke up, her words laced with frustration. "Just give me the damn papers so I can sign them. I have other important things to attend to." He seemed unfazed, engrossed in his laptop. Lisa's frustration grew, and she made a move to leave when his voice cut through the air.
