ly you need it explained directly. You are no one here. You have no name, no connections, nothing. And I will make sure that every door on that campus feels that way for you." I looked at her for a moment. "Are you done?" I said. Her jaw tightened. "Celeste." Alexei's voice came from behind her, low and even, and she turned immediately, her whole posture shifting the second she looked at him. "Let's go." "She..." "I know," he said, "let's go." I thought that was it. I was already turning back to the rail, done with all of it, ready to find Hanna's top and get out. Then he looked at me. "For what it's worth," he said, and his tone was different from Celeste's, not cruel, just flat and certain, "she's right that you don't understand how things work here. It would be worth your time to figure that out." I stared at him. "I'm sorry," I said, "are you standing here giving me advice right now?" "I'm stating a fact." "The fact being that I should understand my place." "The fact is that this environment has a structure, and ignoring it doesn't make it disappear." "That's a very elegant way of telling me to know my place," I said, "I almost missed it." "That's not what I said." "It's exactly what you said; you just used more words," I shifted my bag on my shoulder, "and honestly, I expected better from someone who's supposed to be so intelligent; that was a very basic thing to say." Something moved in his eyes, quick, the same flicker I'd seen before. "You're making things harder for yourself," he said. "I'm shopping," I said. "You're the ones who made it complicated." "Alexei," Celeste touched his arm, her voice back to that careful sweetness she used around him, "she's not worth this; let's just go." I want to look at the place down the road." THE LOST PRINCESS OF TYE WOLVES
“In a world where werewolves secretly coexist with humans, the scars of an ancient war have never truly healed. Years ago, the Blood Moon War devastated two worlds. Under a ruthless werewolf king, countless lives were lost, families were destroyed, and an entire bloodline was nearly erased. Amid the bloodshed, a newborn princess disappeared. Her identity was concealed, her memories sealed, and her existence hidden from those who wanted her dead. Raised by human parents, Aria grows up believing she is ordinary. She attends college, builds friendships, and knows nothing about her royal heritage or the supernatural world connected to her birth. Unbeknownst to her, her forgotten past holds the key to a conflict that never truly ended. Everything changes when she meets Prince Alexei, a powerful werewolf royal whose arrogance and mysterious presence challenge her at every turn. Their encounters are filled with tension, misunderstandings, and resistance, yet an inexplicable connection begins drawing them together. As their relationship deepens, Aria experiences strange dreams, unsettling visions, and fragments of memories that contradict everything she knows about herself. An ancient prophecy and a relic connected to the Blood Moon War begin uncovering truths that powerful forces have struggled to keep buried. The revelation changes everything. Aria is not human. She is the lost princess and the sole survivor of a royal bloodline destroyed during the war. However, her identity carries a devastating complication. Alexei's family is connected to the massacre that destroyed hers. His grandfather, the original Alexei, played a central role in the atrocities. Although the young prince inherited his grandfather's name and bloodline, he must confront a history he did not personally create and its continuing consequences. As tensions between humans and werewolves rise, old enemies resurface, political alliances fracture, and another war becomes increasingly possible. Aria becomes both a symbol of hope and a threat to those determined to preserve the old order. Now, Aria must decide whether to embrace the royal legacy stolen from her or reject a destiny shaped by bloodshed. Alexei must choose between his family's dark past and the future he wants with the woman he loves. Their love could break the cycle of hatred, but it could also ignite another war. Will Aria reclaim her people's stolen legacy, or will history repeat itself and destroy everything she has come to love?”
