“The first person to die in Lagos didn't stay dead. At 4:30 PM, Lagos was still fighting its usual battle with traffic when a man collapsed in the middle of the road. Minutes later, he was biting someone. Then another person turned. Then another. By the time Segun, a danfo driver trying to reach LUTH to save his sister, realized what was happening, the city around him had already begun to fall apart. Inside LUTH, Adunni, a young nurse, is trapped as patients become violent and the hospital turns into a killing ground. Outside, Segun is forced to choose between escaping Lagos and saving the people who now depend on him-including a frightened boy, an elderly woman, and his own sister.
