Wild and Untamed

He stood tall and towered over me as my fragile heart pumped loudly in it's cage. Beads of cold sweat were scattered all over my face as I stared into the scariest green eyes I'd ever seen.

Why did he have to do that to me?? Wasn't he more of a brother to me?? He held my dress with all his might and the moment it tore, my eyes also drew open and I sat up.

What is wrong with me? I asked myself as I took deep shaky breaths. I wondered why this kept happening to me. I laid my head back down on the pillow and sleep never came. It was only at 3:00 in the morning that my eyes eventually shut.

An hour later, my alarm rung and I woke up with the usual headache. I checked the time and my mouth dropped open. I'd slept through two alarm rings. " Are you still in bed Ma'am?" The tiny voice of Maria my house help came from behind the door. "Your meeting is in an hour" she added. What?? "Uhh... I'm awake. I'll be out soon. Thank you" I rattled. She chuckled and walked away.

"I have to hurry" I said to no one in particular and scrambled off the bed. I walked into the huge bathroom where the water was already heated as it had been programmed to. I took a quick relaxing bath and dressed up in one of my own designer wears. I didn't have much time so I didn't stop to look in the mirror. I actually ran down the stairs to the garage since I didn't see Maria.

My Lamborghini sat in it's glory among the others. My driver ran towards me when he spotted me. "Let me take you today Ma'am"

I was too late to object. He opened the door and I got in.

Just then my phone rang. It was my secretary Fabris. "Miss Lia the alliances are on their way." He said out of breath, it seemed. "I'm on my way Fabris. Just put everything in order... Hold on my father's calling." He hung up. "Ola Papa" I greeted cheerfully. "My love how are you doing?" He said lovingly.

"Papa I'm good just a little stressed out with work." I whined. "Lily don't worry too much" I heard my brothers voice from behind. If only they knew it wasn't work I was worried about.
