They Are Not Ordinary

50 YEARS AGO (October 20, 1970)

"What the hell Damien, you could have at least left some for us" Claude shooked his head at the bodies that were scattered around the floor

Suddenly a blur came and just from the scent we already knew who it was.

"Damn Damien you are a greedy bastard you didn't even leave some for us" Zachary sighed at the mess he was looking at, he gave a disappointing look at me but I ignore it.

"Well, it's not my fault, if you guys went early you could have some" I smirked while wiping the blood that was dripping from my mouth as I stepped to the dead bodies.

"Is this normal humans?" Claude asked as he was checking if someone is still alive so he could suck the blood out of them but sadly he didn't find one. After all, I finished them all because I couldn't help it.

"I don't really know" I shrugged as I throw the bodies into a pile.

"You should have a check first before you just go around and rage" Zachary scolded he was trying to help me pile the dead bodies. "You what happens if we messed up with someone's territory, we are only here to get something not to end every single life of these poor humans"

"I was just having fun, don't worry they wouldn't even know we are here" I raised my hand up and defended myself. There Zachary goes again he is always soft for humans. In our circle of friends, Zachary is the oldest he is 19 years old while Claude and I are 17.

We are fresh vampires in fact the three of us have been friends since we are kids and then uncured flu got spread in our small town leaving us all waiting for death, our parents and family died and we kids are the only people left in the hospitals we are just waiting for our death but then one day a man came out of nowhere in our hospital bed and started to bit us he even told us 'If you want to live just close your eyes and pray that you will survive this' All I remember was the excruciating pain that filled my whole body, then suddenly I woke up in a huge house super confused and I felt my neck is super dry like it was begging for a drink. Then that man appeared again and I finally knew his name this time and his name was Vincent, he explained everything to us, at first we didn't believe him and as we grow we are eventually realizing the truth of the world and about us.

Since then he took care of us, raised us as his own, and trained us along with the other vampires.

I don't really like him at first, I hated him because he turned us into something without our permission, now we are going to live forever without our parents and being a monster. But after years I warmed up to him eventually we are okay now.

"Master Vincent is not going to be happy about this" Claude stated as he looked at the piled humans.

"There you go again mentioning our so called dad" I rolled my eyes, not really in the mood to argue with them both because I'm just here to feed myself.

"Never mind, come on let's get what we really came here for," Zachary said before we all continue to travel to our destination.

We finally reached the town in just a blink, well it's not that very far from where we came from, these towns are really close to each other.

We are in the town that we used to call home, we are here to retrieve a thing that belongs to our so called father Vincent, he didn't tell us what is it, he told us that if we get it back then he will tell us what it is.

"My, my what happened in here," I said we are on the top of the roof watching people around we can smell their scents from above it smelled like a wet dog and we already knew what they are. "It looks like wolves take over our home"

"This is unacceptable, we are lucky that we moved far away from them" Zachary shook his head in disbelief crossing his arms.

"I missed this town, it holds so many memories we use to be normal and we just play and run around," Claude said while looking at the whole town meaningfully he was like having a flashback, he is reminiscing about our happy human past.

"That was just 7 years ago bro don't be so dramatic" I scoffed at how soft they are turning.

"You know since you became a vampire you become hotheaded geez we missed the old you, you used to be caring for us" Claude jeered while glaring at me.

"Whatever, let's split up to get what we are really here for," I told them as I jumped down from the roof to the ground and started to stroll along the streets.

"Don't wander around for too long" I heard Zachary shouted.

I have to admit as I walk around the happy memories were flashing in my mind, I really missed those times too but we are really different from who we are in the past and we don't need to keep on looking back at the past because it's making us soft.

"You aren't supposed to be in this town" A girl appeared behind me as I mindlessly stroll down the street.

I turned around to see a black haired girl around my age, she is small but she looked ripped, recognizing her stinky dog scent I already know what kind she is.

"You are not supposed to be here vampire" The girl spat as she raised her eyebrows and then proceed to cross her arms, If I wasn't that nice this girl would have met her death by now. "Do you want me to tell the whole pack that a vampire is crossing this line or Am I going to remove you myself?"

"You are quite something wolf girl" I laughed she was taken aback at my reaction because I am not really bothered by her threat, I could kill a whole pack in a blink of an eye so it didn't really bother me. "Why don't you just relax, I mean no harm and I'm only here to get what is ours"

"Nothing from here belongs to you filthy blood sucking monsters I think you went into a wrong place" The girl growled, I glared at her for calling us that, as a vampire, we all hated being called blood sucking monsters it's just annoying and disrespectful "Unless you have a death wish I suggest you leave this place this instant"

I walked near her and I can feel her tremble upon my gaze and I smirked.

"You think I'm scared of a dog like you? you better think twice because from what I can hear from your head is all fear" I whispered before I quickly run far away before she could even breathe.

I was in the other street again and noticed that my friends already arrived at the destination.

"Wow this is the first time you guys go first, I'm so proud of you both" I sarcastically said causing them both to scoff, most of the time when we are asked to do something from far away I usually go first because I was much faster than both of them combined.

"I don't really know why we call you our friend geez you are very annoying nowadays" Claude shooked his head.

"What took you so long anyway?" Zachary questioned.

"I bumped into some wolf girl trying to threaten me to leave but I ran away from her" I simply shrugged dismissing the fact that Zachary is looking at me like he was going to scold me again.

"I told you not to wander around" Zachary scolded causing me to groan at him "Now we got to act fast before they find us"

We stared at the large building our 'dad' Victor used to live it was a casual house. We wondered who is living here.

Zachary walked towards knocked on the door and I rolled my eyes and went to the door to kick it.

"See much easier than knocking" I gesture both of my hands to the door I broke.

"Gosh do you really need to deal everything with violence?" Zachary shook his head in disappointment.

Then suddenly a man spoke.

"Who are you and what are you doing in here?" A deep voice said, we watched the figure walk out the building his face brought back many memories we are all shocked to see that face after a long time.

"Mister Jerry?" I stuttered, confusion is going around in my head as we stared at the man who taught, cared, and helped us in school before we became vampires.

"Look who it is, it's my favorite trio," Jerry said as he walks near us like he was going to hug us but we all stepped back he frowned at us, then I can see a hint of something deep in his eyes and I can't it figure out, I tried reading his mind but he seemed to be blocking it.

I can sense that something isn't right.

"No offense but cut the crap mister Jerry I know that you are just acting" I sniggered at him, Zachary and Claude were shocked at how I approached him, I'm guessing they didn't sense it, how dense. Mister Jerry immediately laughed.

"Fine, I always knew you were a smart one," He said in a serious voice finally dropping the act.

"I can't believe it after all this time you have been a wolf?" I asked him as we cautiously walked inside the house and making our way to the living room to sit on a couch.

"Yes" He answers briefly then gave us a disgusted look "I know what happened to you three and I can really say I'm disappointed that you chose to be our enemy"
