"Rong Dung, it's morning, hurry up" The elderly woman lightly touched the shoulder of a woman in her twenties who was sleeping soundly on the large bed placed in the middle of the room.
She frowned, her eyelids were so heavy that Van Dung didn't want to lift her, she put her hand on the woman's hand, her voice a little coy, wanted to ask for a few more minutes.
"Mom, let me sleep for 5 more minutes"
When the woman heard that, she was a little angry, her sharp eyes looked straight at the cotton ball curled up on the bed, one hand pulled the blanket up, startling Van Dung, who rolled a few times to the end of the bed.
“Ah, mom,” she said a little high, rubbing her forehead that had hit the wall, causing it to turn red. The face was still snoring, eyes closed, looking at the woman she called her mother.
"Don't get up yet, today is the first day of the new school year"
Van Dung heard that was a bit surprised, reached for the phone that was left on the nightstand, opened it, and it was only 5:30 am.
She immediately turned her head to look at her mother, a bewildered face pointed at the phone screen and then said loudly.
"It's still early, Mom."
In response to her words, there was only silence, the woman stared at her with sharp eyes, raising her voice to rebuke.
“Don't you remember being late once last year and being locked outside the school gates?”
Speaking of which, Van Dung is a bit embarrassed, it is true that on the first day of school last year she overslept and was late, but that's not the reason why her mother called her this early in the morning, right?
"Don't sit there anymore, hurry up and get ready and come down for breakfast" Then the women turned to leave, and slammed the door, leaving Van Dung still bewilderedly sitting inside.
She ruffled her hair, the sleepiness still hadn't passed, making Van Dung want to once again curl up in that soft blanket and have a deep sleep. But if she did, she would know for sure that the dinners of the next few days would not fly away, so Van Dung could only reluctantly get out of bed, mind still attached to the warmth and comfort it brought.
She went to the wardrobe, took the uniform that had been ironed straight and hung it neatly on the rack, quickly cleaned herself, changed into her uniform, and went downstairs, her hair ruffled because it had not been combed.
"Mom, I'm down!" Van Dung shouted, looking at the kitchen not far away.
"When you get down, come here," Her mother said, the sizzling sound and the fragrant scent made Van Dung suddenly feel hungry, quickly went down and ran to the kitchen.
"What are mom cooking?" She fixed her eyes on what lay on the small pan, wondering.
"Fried eggs are eaten with bread, I open the cupboard to take a bottle of milk and pour it into a glass to drink some to quench my thirst"
After hearing that, Van Dung turned around, went to open the refrigerator door, and did as her mother told her. Soon breakfast was also done, and each plate of delicious food was placed neatly on the table. She sat down on the chair, intending to quickly finish her meal when her mother said.
"I went to my room to wake up my father"
Therefore, Van Dung had to put down her chopsticks, quickly ran into a nearby room, flung open the door, and shouted inside.
"Father, get up for breakfast." The voice was a little loud, making the people inside wake up, and quickly answered Van Dung
