And he reaches Sarah's bed, caressing her, rocking her dreams.

Despite the bricks of the red brick houses of this town, and in the high minarets of its mosques, and despite the noise of crowded buses and vans traveling between neighboring towns and villages, almost every hour of the day, and despite the loudspeakers in loud cinemas, especially on summer nights.

It was more like a large village, and the sun that rose behind the high mountains looked down upon it with its shining face at least several hours after sunrise.The mountains (Ataka) embrace this town completely !The trees of its forests, with their giant trunks that were not extended by an axe, were lofty .. When the plain was ablaze with the yellow heat of summer, the town enjoyed a lovely moist coolness. In the winter, these giant trees, reaching to the sky, repel storms and bring back sharp frosts like daggers from the town. The forest protected the townspeople from the whims of the harsh weather.

Sarah rose in terror from her mattress lying on the floor in her house, which consists of two rooms surrounded by corroded tin walls . She was soaked in sweat .
