Alexander watches Kimbeerly who continues to flash her sweet smile as everyone cheers. Yes ... they had their wedding today. Everyone is happy and now it's time to prove that they love each other with a kiss. Alexander pulls Kimbeerly gently by the scruff of the neck and gives him a kiss which Kimbeerly kisses back.
Shouts and cheers of happiness filled the wedding hall as Alexander pulled away. They stared at each other before finally smiling. Alexander grasped Kimbeerly's fingers tightly and the girl continued to flash a charming smile.
"I will always love you."
Alexander turned to look at Kimbeerly who was smiling again after telling Alexander her feelings. Alexander only smiled slightly in return. He immediately took Kimbeerly to the front to entertain their guests who had arrived.
Alexander focused on the two visibly moved people in front of him. Kimbeerly's parents who were now smiling happily as their daughter and son-in-law came to see them after their recent change of status. Alexander revealed a faint smile after being in front of Kimbeerly's parents.
"Congratulations on your marriage, Kimbeerly, and Alexander. I'm so happy to see that you've officially become husband and wife." Victoria spoke while hugging her daughter affectionately her eyes also looking at Alexander beside her daughter.
Jeremy did not speak. He kept his eyes on his daughter who continued to show her big smile today. He did not expect that the only daughter in their family would have a partner now. Especially with Alexander who had known her briefly. Jeremy is not unhappy with his daughter's change in status, it's just that he feels it's too soon. Jeremy still wants to see Kimbeerly with him and be his child who is never far from them. Unfortunately, this is already the way.
"Daddy."
Jeremy revealed his smile with a simple nod. He welcomed his daughter into his warm embrace while feeling his heart slightly unwilling to let Kimbeerly go to Alexander. "Congratulations on your marriage, my beautiful daughter."
Kimbeerly nodded in response to her father's congratulations. She broke away and looked at her father who had just wiped away the tears that were about to come. "Don't cry, Dad. I'll be your daughter forever and I'm not going anywhere."
Jeremy shook his head. He hugged Kimbeerly back. "I'm just a little unwilling for the only daughter in the Libason family to have a partner now let alone leave home."
Alexander smiled wryly at Jeremy's words. His face was so calm but not with that eagle-eyed look. No one would notice how he was. Alexander was good at putting on a face and putting himself out there.
"Ehem!"
Alexander cleared his throat and then made Jeremy and Kimbeerly's hug break. The two stared at Alexander for a few moments before finally chuckling. Realizing that the new guy was offended by their conversation.
"Don't tell me you're jealous of that father and daughter, Alexander," Victoria commented on Alexander's expressions and mannerisms with a laugh.
Alexander smiled slightly. "It shouldn't be, but who knows about human feelings? I can't even control it from being jealous even though I know they are a father and son."
The three laughed in response to Alexander's words. The man knew how to make the atmosphere warm. Jeremy also always viewed Alexander as intelligent. The man never seemed to think but his words were always in line with what was happening. It was only natural that his daughter would be enamored with a man like this. Alexander was good at doing anything.
"Alright, alright. Forgive your father-in-law for not understanding your feelings. I will give my daughter to you," Jeremy said as he pulled away from Kimbeerly and gently pushed his daughter closer to Alexander.
"It's not your fault, Mr. Libason. It's my fault for not understanding that you are blood relatives which made me look ridiculous with my earlier remark. I'm sorry I offended you." Alexander said as he bowed his body slightly.
"Your parents didn't come, Alexander? I haven't seen them since the show started."
Alexander raised one eyebrow with a haggard face. Feeling guilty he said, "They apologized to me earlier for having to wait for a grandmother who was seriously ill in the hospital. I came with Father earlier but he very regretfully couldn't attend his own son's wedding because he had to go out of town. I'll call him later and they also sent their regards to you."
