Chapter 1: The Kidnapping

Princess Celeste stood by the large window of her royal chambers, looking out over the kingdom. The sun was setting, casting a golden glow over the green fields and tall stone towers of her father's castle. Everything looked peaceful, yet Celeste felt a storm brewing inside her. She couldn't shake the feeling that something was about to change. Her heart raced with an unease she couldn't explain.

It had been a peaceful week, nothing unusual, but it was the calm before a storm. She was a princess, the only child of the powerful Alpha King. Her life had always been one of privilege, surrounded by guards, luxury, and respect. But Celeste had never asked for any of it. All she wanted was to be free, to run through the forests and feel the wind against her face without the weight of her royal duties hanging over her.

But that was not meant to be. She had been trained to rule one day, to carry on her father's legacy. The pressure had always been there, even though she was still so young. The people of the kingdom looked to her father for guidance and strength, and soon it would be her turn to carry that burden. She didn't know if she was ready, but she had no choice.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a soft knock at the door.

"Your Highness," the voice of her maid, Aleria, called from the other side.

"Come in," Celeste replied, turning from the window.

The door creaked open, and Aleria stepped inside, her eyes wide with a hint of excitement. "The royal council requests your presence, Princess. They are waiting for you in the hall."

Celeste sighed and nodded. "Thank you, Aleria. I'll be there shortly."

Aleria's eyes flickered with concern, but she said nothing as she curtsied and left the room.

Celeste took a deep breath and looked at her reflection in the mirror. The crown was resting on a small table next to the window. It had always been a symbol of what was expected of her, but she had never felt ready to wear it. Her long, silver hair cascaded down her back, her blue eyes filled with curiosity and uncertainty about what the future held. The crown, though heavy, was not her greatest concern today. Today, something felt off.

As she walked down the hallway toward the royal council, Celeste couldn't shake the feeling that her life was about to change forever. She had heard the whispers of a rogue werewolf king, one who had been exiled from their land many years ago. No one had seen him in years, but the rumors were still strong. They said he was dangerous, vengeful, and ruthless. Her father had always warned her not to trust any rumors about him, but deep down, Celeste had a strange feeling that they weren't just stories.

The grand hall of the castle was filled with the powerful men and women who advised her father. They stood in a circle, speaking in hushed tones as she entered. Her father, King Alistair, stood in the center of the room. His strong, commanding presence filled the space, and all eyes turned to her as she walked in. Celeste held her head high, trying to maintain her composure.

"My daughter," her father said, his voice deep and full of authority. "We need your help with something important."

Celeste stepped forward. "What is it, Father?"

King Alistair looked serious, his brow furrowed. "A dangerous rogue pack has been spotted near our borders. We believe their leader is none other than the Rogue King himself."

Celeste's heart skipped a beat at the mention of his name. The Rogue King. She had heard of him in the stories, of course. The once-loyal warrior who had been betrayed by her father's ancestors and exiled. The very same man who had sworn revenge on the kingdom for the wrongs done to him.

Her father continued, his tone even more serious. "We cannot allow him to approach our kingdom. We must prepare for what may come."
