Phoebe's pov

Walking into the bedroom, I smile to see Barrett lying in bed reading, because after the long day I've had, I need him.

"Hey," he says with a smile as he puts his book on the nightstand. It's strange how he had returned from work so quickly.

I sat down beside him and sigh. "Rough day?" I asked. "Kind of." he said exhaling heavily

"I have an idea that might relax you," I said with a devious grin.

"You definitely have a few things that would relax me, Phoebe, but what did you have in mind?"

"Lie down," I whispered, removing the duvet cover from his body.

He remained silent as he complied, lying on the bed with his arms stretched out on the mattress, signaling a kind of surrender. I hope he finds the right mood; I wouldn't want to make things worse, but I believe it will turn out well.
