My Little Secrets

Late at night, eleven o'clock.

Passionate sex just ended.

Taryn closed her eyes tightly. On her forehead, there was still a layer of fine sweat. She swallowed and said, "The three-year agreement is over. Let's get a divorce."

On the side of the bed, the man who was about to get up to shower paused and turned to stare at her. "What?"

"I said divorce." Taryn opened her eyes and met his gaze. "You've already taken full control of the Homer Group and inherited everything from the Homer family. Why are you still trapping me?"

"You're quite self-conscious!" Alonzo Homer sneered.

"So? When are we going to the court?"

Alonzo did not speak and just stood up. His perfect figure with wide shoulders and narrow hips was dripping with sweat. His strong body which was filled with male hormones was intoxicating.

Instead of going to the bathroom, he slammed the door heavily.

Taryn held the blanket tightly for a while before she gradually relaxed.

Her mind was still dizzy and she closed her eyes again. The man's handsome and deep eyes floated in her mind and could not be shaken off.

For three years, Taryn was only close to Alonzo when they had sex. At other times, he always turned a blind eye to her.

They used to be childhood sweethearts, but later they became isolated because of a misunderstanding. But they had to share the same bed as husband and wife. No one knew how she had survived over a thousand days!

Now that the time was up and her atonement was over, she had to break out of this cage and start a new life.

Three days later, outside the court.

Taryn's thin body looked even weaker as she stood in the cold wind. She waited for a whole day until the court was about to close. Only then did she see the familiar black Bentley come over.

"I thought you were going to stand me up." Seeing the tall and slender man approaching, Taryn pursed her lips and said.

Alonzo pursed his lips and raised his hand. The lawyer standing behind him immediately stepped forward.

"Madam, this is the property that Mr. Homer gave you. You only need to sign here." The lawyer stepped forward and took out the document.

Taryn glanced over. There was a mansion, a luxury car, and some cash.

Quite generous.

"Putting aside the fact that you framed Harper, after all, with your cooperation, I can get everything from the Homer family. Moreover, I slept with you for three years for nothing. This little reward is also something I should do," Alonzo said lightly, but his words were even colder than the cold wind.

Taryn frowned, and her cheeks were slightly red. Regarding that misunderstanding, she no longer had any thoughts of defending herself.

The lawyer at the side cleared his throat awkwardly.

Originally, she didn't want this money. After all, she still had her pride.

But after listening to his mean words, Taryn suddenly changed her mind.

"You're right. I deserve this for serving you for three years. I should get some reward." Taryn grabbed the document and casually flipped through it. "However, this amount of assets is nothing to you, right? I didn't expect that the president of the Homer Group would be so stingy."

After saying that, Taryn put away the document and turned to walk up the stairs. "Hurry up, or they will get off work."

Alonzo pursed his lips and his eyes darkened.

The lawyer looked at Alonzo's face and did not dare to breathe.

They were the last pair to divorce and soon finished the formalities.

Taryn looked at the divorce decree and thought of the past three years. It was like all yesterday.

After walking out of the building, she wanted to say something to conclude their marriage, but Alonzo went straight down the stairs without looking back.
