Chapter 1
"Ahh..." Being able to breathe the beautiful air of London again is a fantastic feeling, particularly when you're brought back to exact Revenge.
"Mum, come on, move..." I glanced down to see my five-year-old daughter glaring at me in despair as she tugged at the hem of my gown. Her lips were pouting in exasperation, and her brows were wrinkled in the most beautiful manner imaginable. As I stepped off the plane, I gave her a grin and embraced her.
She tried to escape my grasp and then stated, "I'm not a baby anymore, I can walk, and I didn't ask you to carry me." In general, Aria has a lot of stubbornness. I had to give up and let her fall to the ground because the pressing had become so bad. "What's it with you, missy?" Putting my hands on my hips, I asked her. In response, she tuurns her head away from me, folds her arms, and puffs up.
Whoa! "He–hey...you forgot m–me..." Aria's twin brother was attempting to move our two baggage boxes, which were around three times his size, when I glanced up back at the plane's entryway. I gasped and started running toward him. It's amazing that I almost forgot about the less sassy one. He cried out, "No no Mum, I can do it..." as I pulled the luggage away from him. His brows lifted in a determined grimace, he tried all he could to pull them over the plane's entrance.
I just stood there and saw him display his childish perseverance. Despite my occasional curses, I thank the father for giving me these little brats. For the last five years, and because of them, they have been motivating me to never give up. I... The scratchy voice of an elderly guy says, "Move him out of the way, woman!" I begin to awaken.
Archie is quickly hoisted into my arms, out of the path of the twenty or so people waiting in line inside the plane. When Archie responded, "But mum, I already had it covered," as we were bringing the boxes down the aircraft, I just set him down next his sister and added, "Sure you did, son." Fortunately, we have made it to London. Where to stay is the next thing on our list.
I know it is ridiculous that I left New York for London without arranging where my children would live in the future. I guess that was all part of the plan, however. My buddy Lily, who lives in New York, told me about this young guy who is looking for a wife to marry him soon. His parents had been bothering him about it for a long time, so he was anxious for a marriage now to get them off his back.
I realize it seems absurd, but However, if we get married, I'm expected to meet with this guy and sign a contract that will be advantageous to both of us. I came back from New York to get even with my ex-boyfriend and younger sister for their five-year treachery. After all of my late mother's possessions, including her business, were seized from me, I had no choice but to depart since they still had more rage to inflict on me.
I subsequently found out, however, that I was carrying twins, and the most heartbreaking thing is that I don't know who their father is. I'm not to fault; Things had taken a drastic turn, and I had a one-night encounter with this lovely stranger. I was devastated and wanted a little drink to get my mind straight. To be honest, I hadn't expected to get pregnant; it was simply meant to be a happy one-night event.
However, my womb decided to fertilize it with its own sperm. Five years later, my ex and his new partner were growing wealthy every day because of my efforts, while I was still struggling with my twins in New York City. I was aware that the Williams Group of Companies was founded on my labor, but I just couldn't remain behind and continue to hear about their incredible achievements. "Mum, why are we standing here?"
