"Oh, No..!"

Audrey blinked in panic.

Gosh,... What happen!

Within seconds,...she could no longer avoid it.

The car slammed into the car in front of. The collision could no longer be avoided.

The loud crash of the car was deafening on the Windsore city highway.

"No,..!" Audrey winced at the pain in her head and legs.

Her body was sandwiched between the steering wheel and the seat, which made it difficult to catch her breath.

Blood from the wounds on her forehead and head began to drip down her face.

She eyesight was getting blurry as her consciousness declined.

She could still hear the sound of the ambulance siren, which was getting closer.

Gradually, everything went dark and she had no recollection of the aftermath.

"What's wrong?" asked a man who was indifferently looking at the traffic jam on the road. Beside him, sat his beautiful and spoiled girlfriend.

"There seems to be an accident up ahead, sir," replied the driver.

"Huh, ... just make it slow."

"Why are there still people who are careless like that..." he grumbled.

"Dear,... be patient, okey."

"The show hasn't started yet..." said his girl.

A few moments later, the accident victim was evacuated and taken to the nearest hospital for help and treatment.

At the hospital,

"Miss Audrey,... how are you?"

Audrey faintly heard someone's voice near her. His voice sounded very worried.

She opened her eyes and found Henry, her assistant, standing not far from the patient's bed where she was lying.

She was lying weakly on the patient's bed in a very bad condition.  A tube was attached to the back of her hand.

She whole body was covered in wounds. Maybe it was broken glass, or maybe it was an impact.

She don't know, Really don't know for sure.

Her head was also wrapped in bandages. There were also several other medical devices attached to various parts of her body.

People said she was very lucky, because she was still alive in that terrible accident even with injuries all over her body.

"I'm,.... fine, Henry." she replied weakly and sounded sad.

She couldn't turn her head because there was an object supporting on her neck.

Her head also hurt like hell. But she knew he was still standing there.

Henry was her personal assistant at the Campbell residence.

She married Aaron Campbell two years ago because of a mistake. That man accidentally defiled her. And so this marriage came to be.

During that time, Aaron was just a husband on paper. For two years of our marriage, she was just a shadow to him.

She was never in his heart and Aaron always hated her.

Audrey not blame him for hating her so much. She realize It was all her fault.

She was the one who didn't know herself. She was the one who was so crazy and so in love with him. She chased after him and was so obsessed with him.

And finally, that night, she managed to tie Aaron into marriage. Even though it was something that was completely out of her plan.

But unfortunately, she didn't manage to tie the heart of Aaron, who loved Stella, her own sister, first.

Audrey woke up in silence. Her hand moved softly, searching for something. Henry was still there.

That middle-aged man is so loyal. She don't know how long the man has been here. He is still patiently waiting for Audrey to wake up.

Audrey don't know how long she've been unconscious. She also don't know how long she've been in this place.

Henry, ...."

"Miss Audrey, are you awake?"

The man looked at me with an elusive gaze.

"Do you need anything?" he asked again.

"Can you contact Aaron?" She looked at Henry's face with a pleading gaze.

She know this might sound impossible. But she still hoped that Aaron would have a bit of concern for her after learning that she had an accident. After all, wasn't Audrey his wife, was she?

She saw the hesitation on the Henry's face. She knew he was hesitant to call Aaron.
