❤Acacia's POV❤
"That dream was a weird one ...," I mumbled soon after opened my eyes. My throat is dry, resulting in whispering my sentence instead of saying it loud.
"Oh, you woke up! Thanks, God!" I see my childhood friend jump to standing position from the chair beside the bed I lay on, "You scare me, love! I thought you will be dead, you know I can't live without you," he whimpered.
He helps me to sit, then take a sit behind me so I'm leaning on his chest, and push a bottled water with a straw to my mouth. I gulp the liquid until it's empty.
He put the empty bottle on the bedside table and hug me from behind, "Next time, tell me whenever you feel sick, don't wait until it gets bad and fainting!" he scolds me then kisses my head.
I inspect the room we're in. White and light blue wallpaper, small LED TV across from the bed hanging on the wall, a set of small table and chair in the corner of the room, white ceramic tile, strong disinfectant smell.
We are in a hospital room.
"Sebby ...." I called.
"Hmm?"
"Don't you want to hear about my weird dream?" I asked. "And why are we in a hospital?"
"I will hear about the dream later, Princess. As for why we're here ... a very naughty girl works too hard, didn't touch her food, and refuse to sleep. I found her laying on the floor with fever. I was worried to death and carried her here."
"Oops." Thank God I have him, be I not, I might have died and people just discover my body 30 years later. "Sorry, and thank you. I love you."
"Don't you dare to do that again," he said, tightening his hug to me. "Mom will be here, soon."
His mom has died when he was eight years old, and I was six. Our parents was best friends since they were in high school. Their house is just ten minutes walk from ours. He called my mother, Mom too.
"You called Mom?" I'm in trouble.
"How could I not? You've been sick more than two days!" he hissed.

I had a long and serious scold from my mother. What makes her worried more was, that she can't stay here too long, as she need to taking care after Dad who was recovering from hemorrhoid post-operation.
Mom parked her car and we get out of it. Sebby carries me to our apartment and places me carefully on my bed.
"Thank you so much for taking care of Cassie, Seb. I swear she won't live this long without you," Mom said while arranging my scattered paint tubes on it's box.
"I won't live without her either," he shrugged.
"I know. You two want me to cook before I go home?" Mom asked and we getting pale.
"No, thanks!" we choired. Mom laughed.
Mom is the worst cook who existed. We could eat mom's cook, but instead of recovering, I will be dead from food poisoning.
"Okay kids, I have to pick Aster up from ballet school. If Cassie makes any trouble again, just leave her be, Seb, you can get another girl who won't make your life miserable."
Aster is my kid sister that ten years apart from me. She is ten years old.
"Ouch! I'm your daughter!" I hissed, Mom rolls her eyes and Seb chuckled.
"I just want her, thanks," he mumbled before walking Mom out.
Sebastian and I are best friends since forever. He is two years older than me and becomes attached to me soon after saw me for the first time, when I just born. We loved each other so dearly, but never officially bring our relationship to the next level.
After he come inside, he cooks dinner for us and we retired to our rooms soon after we eat. We already lived in this apartment for almost four years, since we attend college in the same university, where I take art major while Seb takes engineering.
