From Maid To Mistress

As I waited for George to arrive for a round of golf on my brand-new course, I tapped my foot violently on the ground. He was frequently late, especially given that he was aware of how limited my time was. Normally, I wouldn't be able to take a whole afternoon off in the middle of a brand-new, upscale Gold Resort launching, but I had to check out this golf course immediately. In fact, I was eager to do it.

     I'd known George for the majority of my life, and we'd been through a lot together. Even though he drove me nuts, I probably kept him around for that reason.

     The son of one of the contractors raced up to him and leaped into his arms as if he were the best guy in the entire damn world as I stood in the lobby of my brand-new hotel, which was set to open the next weekend. Although I would never acknowledge it, a part of me craved for that. I kept my yearning for a family life a secret from everyone, but it blazed hot within me.

     I had achieved success in every aspect of my life by the age of 38. I was renowned businessman kelvin Anderson. I was successful, respected, had money, and ladies were fawning over me.

     However, I hadn't yet met a woman I wanted to start a family with. I was starting to believe that I would never meet the person who would end up being my soul mate. I frequently had sex proposals, and I even had requests for relationships from ladies who didn't know me. Everything was done just for financial gain.

     As hollow a life as it was, perhaps I was destined to remain a playboy bachelor forever more.

     I let out a huge sigh as I visualised holding a small child in my arms. I've known I'd be better ever since my father abandoned my mother and me when I was just eleven years old. I truly wanted to take care of my wife and child, therefore I looked forward to starting my own family. I wouldn't prioritise drinking, I wouldn't cheat, and I wouldn't abandon my young child in favor of a life I deemed more fascinating.

     I was aware that I was capable of outperforming him, but it had never happened to me.

     "Hey, dude!" Finally, George’s voice calling to me from behind me jolted me out of my gloomy thoughts. The question "Are you ready?"

     I turned and gave him the side-eye. "Ready? It's been twenty minutes since I arrived here. I quickly scanned every inch of his body. He was dressed in a turtleneck and linen shorts. He had an unusual appearance, but I could see he was trying. He tried to appear the part, but in classic George fashion, he wasn't quite successful. "You look great, guy. Let's venture outside.

     He said nonchalantly as we stepped outdoors into the warmth of the spring light, "This is what I enjoy about your business. "Trying all this awesome stuff out before anyone else gets a chance."

     I said with a chuckle, already forgetting my foul mood, "It has to have some benefits." I put forth a ton of effort to make this happen.

     And that's why you're so fucking wealthy, yeah. Sincerity: For someone with millions of dollars in the bank, you moan way too much.

     I had a thought, but I refrained from saying it out loud. When it came to finances, George and I didn't agree. We had both worked incredibly hard to become extremely affluent, but I didn't believe that made me a better person than anyone else. I had started my own enterprises and become successful, but I was still just a person. George had worked hard to become one of the most successful attorneys in New York City, but I didn't believe it gave him the right to belittle those who were less fortunate. He assumed they weren't trying because they were lazy.

     Not that I could debate him again about that. We could never come to terms with that, so it was simply worthless.

     "George , whatever, let's just play some golf. I need to finish a ton of paperwork this afternoon.

     "Yeah, whatever, yeah..."

     We whacked balls throughout the course, and I could feel my body unwinding. My shoulders dropped out of strain, my chest felt lighter, and I could definitely feel a smile starting to emerge on my face. George helped me occasionally get out of my workaholic mode, which is why I needed him. The only issue was that he insisted on telling me specifics about his most recent date. I wanted him would simply stop giving me all the graphic details because I didn't need them.

     "Man, her butt was absolutely gorgeous. You should have seen her, to be honest.

     How do you manage to seduce so many different women? I shook my head and laughed. Do they not recognize you for the moron you are?

     I don't activate the charm for you, of course! You would witness if I did.

     "Please don't ever do that. I don't want to see you in top form.

     George chuckled and fired his subsequent shot before abruptly shifting the topic. This is the resort number, then what?

     I buffed, "Eighteen," with pride. "Across the US. I'll soon have one in every state, I promise.

     You started from nothing, so that's quite amazing.

     We simply lacked any supplies, so it wasn't anything. We weren't technically living on the streets or anything, but my mother suffered. Even in the hardest of circumstances, we always had food on the table at the very least. But there was no point in telling George that my father blew off a lot of our family's money. It was nothing if it wasn't millions.

     "You've done pretty well for yourself, man."
