ELLIANA'S POV

“Be fast girl, we'd be late for the party.” Kora snapped at me as she watched me go through the pile of clothes on my bed.

“I'm lost, I don't know what to wear. I never wanted to attend this party, I don't fancy parties.” I replied, my hands busy taking up one outfit after the other.

“Ughhh..” Kora sighed. “I know that you are a nerd, but how will you get Tom's attention if you don't attend the school social parties?” Kora, my best friend asked.

I knew that she was right, I had always been reserved and a nerd. I don't even have good outfits except my regular big shirts and baggy pants. And of course, my glasses which I always wore. Tom has been my long time crush, it was an unrequited love and I have been trying to get his attention for a while but instead, he'd bully me. I purposely let him bully me all these while, because that was the only time he'd talk to me.

Kora started helping me go through my clothes, she has been helping me link up with Tom and this time, she forced me to go with her to the party.

“Oh fuck! You have absolutely nothing to wear, do you even have a dress?” Kora asked me.

“Ummm, I do have one thou…..”

“This won't do, let's go to the boutique.” Kora interrupted.

I collected everything that I would need for the party and kissed my mum goodbye and headed to the front door.

“Are you kidding me? Leave that eye glass of yours behind, you wouldn't go blind just for a night.” Kora gasps and her brows furrow as she sees me leaving through the front door.

We got to the boutique and Kora helped me select a dress, it was a silky and revealing dress, it had flowery designs and it was purple In color, which perfectly matched my complexion.

“I don't feel comfortable, this dress is too revealing and I've never worn something like this before.” I complained to Kora.

“Silly girl” Kora blurred out. “This outfit fits you perfectly well, it's doing justice to your nice shape and curves. Take a look at yourself in the mirror and see how elegant and beautiful you look.” She added.

I took a look at the mirror and indeed all I could see was a beautiful creature.

“Pretty girl, the most beautiful of them all.” Kora teased me.

I shrugged.

“Tom is a big and popular boy in school, and he is known for his high expectations of girls. He is a playboy and he goes around with sexy and good looking girls. Why do you think he has no interest in you, because of your fucking nerdy personality.” Kora hissed.

At the mention of Tom having interest in sexy and good looking females, I immediately started loving my new look. That is how in love I am with Tom.

Kora took me to the hair session of the multipurpose mall, and the stylist styled my long black hair into a beautiful ponytail.

“Damn, you look so hot.” Kora complimented me.

Kora and I finally arrived at the party, it was full of teenagers from my school and everywhere reeked of alcohol. The music was loud and the girls all looked sexy. I was thankful to Kora for gleaming me up, I would have looked like a joke in the midst of these sexy girls.
