Failing Moon

The night was dark and eerily silent. The full moon shone brightly in the sky, illuminating the deserted streets of the small town. The only sounds that could be heard were the howling of the wolves in the distance and the rustling of the trees in the wind.

In the middle of this ominous atmosphere, a small family was making their way back home. The mother, father, and their daughter were all exhausted from a long day's work. The parents held hands, and their daughter walked ahead of them, humming a tune to herself.

Suddenly, a group of rogue wolves attacked them. The family tried to fight them off, but they were outnumbered and overpowered. The mother and father fought valiantly to protect their daughter, but in the end, they both lost their lives.

The little girl was left alone, surrounded by the corpses of her beloved parents. She cried out for help, but there was no one around to hear her.
