Barb Leger was the most respected and feared gangster in the city, and her word was law for her underlings. No one knew much about her other than how ruthless she was when it came to crossing her. Her life was full of secrets, but it wasn’t always that way.

Her father was a successful businessman who owned a construction company that Barbara would eventually inherit. But when her father was diagnosed with cancer, Barb stepped up and took over the company. Her father’s appreciation of her decision only lasted until he found out what Barb had to do to save their family business. Her father died later that year, and Barb inherited both his company and his enemies.
