"Where do you think you are going‚ Beatrice? It's getting late and" He glanced at me from head to toe "is that what you're wearing?"

I rolled my eyes because of how annoying he is. "Oh dad, please. i already told you my after party with Rachel for her 18th birthday‚ didn't I mention that to you?” I replied with a bored tone.

“Yes‚ you did. But you didn't say the after party was in the middle of the night. Go back to your room and change your outfit‚ Beatrice. You are not going. no more words and that's final!” He ended the conversation without me saying anything. Together they walked down the hallway to his room

"W-what?! Dad‚ you can't do this to me!” I shouted hysterically.

"I just did‚ Beatrice. Philip‚ please escort Beatrice to her room‚ immediately.” He commanded.

and Philip came out of the dark wearing pink pajamas with bunny patterns.

“What wear— Oh‚ nevermind. Just escort her‚ Philip.” Dad sighed upon the sight and headed his way towards his room and shut it.

i was puzzled and remained frozen to my stead because of what just happened‚ when suddenly Butler Philip with a flashlight flashing on his face horr-struck me‚ instantly.

“Shall I escort you‚ my lady?” He said without turning off the flash on his face.

I pushed him and irritatedly walked my way upstairs to my room. "I can manage. And also‚ Butler Philip‚ stop wearing those cute-ish pajamas with bunny patterns‚ it looks weird on you– especially that you‘re an old hag.” I uttered without hesitation.

i saw him bowed down as he spoke‚ “Yes‚ my lady.”

"I thought he would like it." I stopped for a moment when I heard that. He knows I like bunnies. Of course‚ he knows. He's been with our family since then.

I erased that thought and immediately headed inside my room. I let out a loud gasp as my body hit the soft bed. I've been staring at the dark ceiling when suddenly my phone rang. I looked at my clutch and pulled out my phone and saw that Rachel was calling me.

I answered it.

“Where the hell are you‚ Trie?! I've been making my people wait for you here for a while, but even your shadow they can't catch you!"

I quickly put the phone away from my ear when I heard her shout on the other line. I can also hear the loud chants and background music when he calls.

I let out a sigh. "Sorry‚ Chel. dad forbid me to go to your after party. It's late and he doesn't like it."

"Yeah‚ yeah‚ Tito and his strict side. But you know it's only once." She said in a pleasing tone.

I felt strongly because of this and sat down at the same time.

"I know but I can't go there if my dad said so—"

"Then‚ run away!"

"Me, what?! Chel‚ you know I can't do that. Th-that's ridiculous!"

"Eeeeeeee‚ all right naaaa! Promise‚ I will talk to Tito‚ tomorrow. All right, just now. I swear‚ Trie!”

I heard loud chants from the other side and I know Rachel is using those people to please me and...

"Okay‚ you win." I admitted and let out a sigh.

And she ended the call. I put down my phone and sighed for the nth time. this night is stressing me out. I know I'm rebellious sometimes and yeah spoiled brat but not to this point that I won't obey dad's orders. But‚ I still need to do this for another experience.

I quickly grabbed the long rope from under the bed and dropped it on the balcony. This is the first and last time I will do something like this. I look out beneath my balcony and I estimate if my fall is high‚ and thankfully my room is on the second floor. When it was dropped, I slowly said it without a sound. I don't want our five dogs to wake up.

i slowly climbed the small fences of the house. It's really good and it's not in dad's mind to put broken bottles on these fences. after landing I took the clutch that was biting my lip and I called back the grab driver I booked awhile ago‚ who I knew had been waiting outside the subdivision.

I just dialed its number when suddenly a taxi stopped in front of me. And it made me startled.

Is it allowed for my brother to do this? As far as I remember, this subdivision does not allow taxis, as long as there is a permit from the president of the subdivision. That's why I made the grab drivers that I had booked wait outside.

i was about to say something when suddenly the driver spoke. "Ma'am, are you the one who booked me?" Smiling confirmation of this.
