I'm reborn with a healer's blood that once saved Jasper, only to be betrayed. This time, I refuse to heal him, facing his slander and Wendy's schemes. Sent to the border, I cure General Gideon and return to find Jasper dying from his own choices. He begs for my blood, but I reveal his organs are rotting. As he dies, I expose Wendy's lies and find love with Gideon, who stands by me. Jasper and Wendy meet their fates, and I finally break free from the past, embracing a life where my healing isn't taken for granted.

Chapter 1 Chapter 1

I'm born with a healer's blood, a living antidote that can neutralize any poison.

In my past life, I bled daily to craft remedies, purging the toxins that had plagued Alpha's third prince, Jasper, for years.

Within three months, the deathly pale wolf, once bound to a wheelchair, shed his frail shell and stood tall.

Alpha, overjoyed, declared me Jasper's sacred bond and named him crown prince.

But on the day Jasper claimed the throne, he dragged me to a gravestone and carved nifty-nine gashes across my body.

Blood poured out as I demanded why he'd repay kindness with betrayal.

"It took less than three months for me to stand again, yet you used your so-called healing to force a bond with me, driving Wendy to poison herself."

"You claim your blood's miraculous? Prove it by bringing Wendy back, or you'll join her in the grave today."

I died consumed by hate.

When my eyes opened again, I was back at the moment Alpha asked if I could heal Jasper.

I dropped to my knees, forehead to the floor. "This humble she-wolf is powerless to ease Alpha's burdens. But Jasper, blessed by your divine strength, will surely recover without my aid."

Alpha's face darkened with disappointment, tinged with reluctance.

"Not long ago, you single-handedly saved soldiers trapped in the Miasma Woods. Why's Jasper's poison suddenly beyond you?"

"I can promise you this: heal Jasper, and I'll forge a sacred bond . When he takes the throne, you'll stand as Luna."

Jasper's poison was woven into him from the womb.

Rumor had it someone tried to assassinate Alpha, and Jasper's mother, a she-wolf, tested the poison herself to save him.

That's why, despite being a sickly cripple, Jasper was Alpha's favored wolf.

If I didn't come up with a solid excuse today, I doubted I'd leave this hall in one piece.

My heart hammered as I scrambled for a way to sidestep the trap.

Then came the creak of wheels rolling over stone.

"Father, I'd never form a bond with Ruby," Jasper's voice cut through. "I've looked into her. She's no healer-blood. Those rumors? She spread them herself, all to claw her way into our pack, chasing wealth and status. Don't let her lies fool you."

His gaze slithered over me, venomous as a rattlesnake.

I shuddered but shook my head. "Jasper's mistaken. I've already told Alpha the rumors are false. I have no wish to bind myself to him."

Alpha backed me up. "Ruby did deny it. But with her reputation as Joravia-pack's miracle worker, what's the harm in letting her try?"

Jasper froze, his eyes flickering with confusion as they met mine.

Then, as if something clicked, he sneered. "Playing hard to get? Too bad I see right through you. I won't bite your bait again."

"Father, my heart's already bound to another. If you force me to bind with Ruby, I'd might as well die."

His defiance left Alpha speechless. With a sigh, the old wolf waved it off. "Fine, let it go. But Jasper, I'm curious-who's this she-wolf who's got you so smitten?"

"She must be something special. I'll bless your bond myself."

At that, Jasper's gaze softened, but he ducked his head, deflecting. "When she and I are ready, I'll bring her to you."

I knelt there, swallowing a bitter smirk.

Jasper's heart didn't belong to some highborn she-wolf. It was his personal maid, a secret he'd guarded fiercely.
