Three years passed. In a remote place, he saw me, now a doctor. The moment he laid eyes on me, he was desperate to tell me the truth... I, who'd given everything to the man I loved, had been utterly betrayed.

Chapter 1 Chapter 1

Aiden stared at the pregnancy test, his face darkened with frustration as he growled, "Why aren't you pregnant yet?"

"Just give me more time. I'll get pregnant."

He scoffed. "Then hurry up and serve me!"

I bit my lip, overwhelmed with humiliation, but had no choice but to obey, stepping toward him.

"Kneel!Use your mouth." he ordered from above, his eyes filled with disgust, as though I were the filthiest thing in the world.

My hands trembled as I slowly undid his belt, closing my eyes and bowing my head, humiliated, as I leaned in.

He moaned in pleasure, but didn't forget to mock me, "Should really let everyone see Kinson's daughter in this pitiful state!"

He shoved me onto the sofa and kissed me aggressively.

"No." I instinctively tried to resist, but his cold words hit me like ice: "Don't want to get pregnant?"

I let my hands fall, powerless. Yes, only pregnancy would give me the chance to have Aiden help treat my father.

Tears welled up in my eyes.

Ten years ago, my father's Silver Fang Gang had destroyed Aiden's father's Shadow Serpent Gang.

Ten years later, I fall in love with Aiden. It was like bringing a wolf into the house. He used me, destroyed the Silver Fang Gang effortlessly, and then turned around and embraced Sucy.

Later, I got drunk and crashed my car, causing Sucy's miscarriage and leaving her unable to have children.

Aiden, seeking revenge, forced me -only by getting pregnant, giving birth, and repaying the debt would I be free. Only then could he save my father.

Aiden dressed himself, casting not even a glance at me as he coldly turned and walked away.

I stared at his retreating figure, curled up, and the tears I had fought so hard to hold back finally fell.

The next morning, I forced my exhausted body to dress and painfully walked into the kitchen. Just as I was about to set breakfast on the table, the door was suddenly kicked open.

Sucy stormed in.

She sneered and grabbed my cup of hot coffee and poured it over my head.

"Hiss-" My cheek burned, the skin reddening as blisters began to form.

"Are you crazy?"

Sucy grabbed my collar, biting out, "You killed my child, and now you dare to seduce Aiden?"

"It's Aiden who forced me to be a surrogate! You think I want to live with this man who destroyed my family?!"

With a resounding slap, she struck my face, blood trickling from the corner of my mouth.

"You slut! Still trying to argue?!"

Just as she raised a fruit knife in fury, I felt utter despair. Suddenly, Aiden appeared, shouting, "Stop!"

I looked up in shock, and saw him gently embracing Sucy, softly saying, "Sucy, don't dirty your hands."

Sucy cried softly in his arms. "Aiden, I don't want her to be the surrogate. I hate her."

Aiden wiped her tears away tenderly. "If you don't like her, then let her go. We can adopt a child."

Aiden looked down at Sucy, his expression unreadable, before turning to me with icy contempt. "Don't let me see your face again."

I took a deep breath, feeling as though everything had come to an end.

A month later, I received the doctor's call. "Congratulations, you're pregnant."

"Are you sure?"

The doctor handed me the ultrasound, and as I was leaving, I bumped into Aiden and Sucy.

Sucy immediately caught sight of me and screamed, "Aiden, it's Alice! She's stalking us!"

I quickened my pace.

Aiden's voice turned cold as he called out, "Stop!"

My scalp tingled as I clenched my fists. I walked even faster. Aiden's fury surged, and in a few strides, he caught up to me, grabbing my wrist and forcing me to look at him. "Why are you running?"

I instinctively cradled my stomach, lowering my voice. "I'm not."

Aiden sneered, "Do you think I'm blind?"

Sucy stepped forward. "Alice, do you enjoy stalking us? How shameless!"

People around us started to look. I was too tired to explain. "Let go of me!"

But Aiden wouldn't release me. He coldly interrogated me, "Tell me, were you following us?"

I scoffed bitterly. "Aiden. We have nothing left between us. Let go of me."

Aiden gripped my wrist tighter. In the struggle, my bag fell, and the ultrasound slid out.

I rushed to pick it up, but Sucy beat me to it.

"What's this?" She unfurled the ultrasound, her face draining of color.

Aiden picked it up, his eyes turning cold. "So, you're pregnant after all."

"This child has nothing to do with you." I turned to leave.

Sucy immediately burst into tears, grabbing Aiden. "Aiden, is this your child? Will you abandon me? I can't even be a mother."

Aiden quickly pulled her into his arms, comforting her softly. "No, my woman is only you."

Then, he looked at me with cold eyes. "Since you're not going to interfere, then get rid of the child. Don't think you can use this to threaten me."

My whole body went stiff.

"Aiden, I told you, this child has nothing to do with you. I won't threaten you. I can disappear from your life forever."

Aiden only sneered. "You think I'll believe you?" His eyes were like ice. "This child has to be aborted."

I clutched my stomach and staggered backward. "No! This child is mine, you have no right!"

I tried to run, but Aiden yanked me back.

"You have no say in this!" His cold voice rang in my ears as he dragged me toward the hospital.

"Please, leave my child alone." I sobbed, struggling, "I'll leave, I'll disappear forever."

Aiden's gaze was cold, devoid of any mercy. "I don't believe a word you say. This child must be terminated."

I felt dead inside as I was pushed into the operating room.

Aiden's voice was cold. "No anesthesia! Let her remember this pain!"

He turned and walked away.

I lay on the operating table, tears sliding silently down my face.

The cold instruments invaded my body without mercy, and I gripped the doctor's hand, pleading, "Please. don't hurt my child."

Being second best is practically in my DNA. My sister got the love, the attention, the spotlight. And now, even her damn fiancé. Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now-billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn't mind. I'd crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one? Wrong. One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That's when it hit me-he didn't love me. He didn't even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn't even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup. So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster-my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise. Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol. Enter him. Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I'd met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes. It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised. But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life. And, as it turned out, the best decision I'd ever made. Because my one-night stand isn't just some random guy. He's richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with. And now, he's not letting me go.
