Tatiana's POV

I should have known this would be a bad night the moment I attended a school party with my cousin _Lev and our bodyguards.

When we got to the venue, I noticed most of the people there were staring at me ,I was not shocked because if I were in their shoes I would also stare at myself .

My dress were as blue as my eyes , the dress was quite revealing and short . My hair, nails, jewelries and makeup complimented my dress .

Lev forced me to attend this party despite knowing I had not partied in a long time and I wasn't friends with anyone there , yet he left me alone to hangout with his friends at the party .so instead of partying like the others , I went to the balcony and stared at the stars.

It was almost like having a conversation with the stars before I heard a voice. It was Alexei and he was smiling at me, he stood close to me and is wearing a black suit and blue tie .

"What are you doing here, while others are partying" he said in a playful tone. I stared blankly for few seconds before replying

"I should be asking you ", I replied in the same playful tone .

"Well I saw a sexy girl standing at the balcony so I had no other choice but to Walk up to her " . He responded with a serious tone .

I ignored what he said but I was blushing within , "I was staring at the stars", I told him even though he didn't ask again.

And just like that we kept discussing and Alexei kept flirting with me .

I was not moved by his flirty words because everyone knows that Alexei is a "ladies man" , he is always flirting with different girls but I'm definitely not one of the girls he can get to sleep with. besides our grandfathers were enemies.

My family and Alexei family were the richest families in Moscow.

I was still having a conversation with Alexei when his adopted sister interrupted, she walked straight to him and held his hands saying "What are you doing here , let's go back inside" Irina told him with an obsessive attitude.

Irina ignored my presence, well I wasn't expecting her to exchange pleasantries with me because we hate each other .

"you can go back inside I will join you" he told her .

Irina did not say anything, she just smiled at Alexei and turned to leave but the bitch turned and looked at me with a grin , I smiled at her and I could feel her blood boil from a distance.

Alexei POV

(Earlier today)

I was at the school party, everyone seemed to be having the time of their lives except me .

I was sitting at the bar thinking about what my mafia family told me ,when we all noticed Lev , alek , Boris and Tatiana arrive. Everyone eye's were fixated on Tatiana, she was not the type to show up for school parties and she looked sexy .

Everyone was partying except for me and Tatiana. I noticed she took a glass of vodka to the balcony, I walked up to Tatiana who was staring at the stars.

I tried to start a conversation with her but she was inattentive at first , however I worked my skills on her and we started having a good conversation until Irina noticed us .

She walked up to us and tried to make me go back to partying but I made her go first.

I looked at Tatiana and was glad she was not annoyed by Irina .

"Do you still want to watch the stars or will you prefer to take a walk with me ", I inquired .

She gave a chuckle in response to my question.

"common Tatiana, it would be better than staring at the stars throughout the party " I said trying to convince her .

"No it would not be better, I would watch the stars than take a walk with you" . She replied in a stern tone.

"Why"

"Alexei are you really asking me why , firstly our grandfathers are sworn enemies, secondly I and your obsessive sister hate each other, thirdly you are a ladies man, fourthly you ••"

" Ok , I get it " I interrupted her before she could detail a hundred reasons why she can't walk with me. "I hope you know that your reasons are just excuses to be alone " , after saying this I realized that my words hit a nerve and she became upset and emotional .

Tatiana even tried to hide her tears .

I moved closer to her and asked what was wrong " I am sorry if I said something that upset you "

" no you are right , I'm just so scared that I prefer to be alone " she blurted as she wiped her tears and said " ok ,"I will walk with you".

I thought Tatiana was an introvert , I guess there is more to her lack of social presence.

I held her hands and we walked out of the party, I noticed Irina's eyes were fixated on us , with the look on her eyes I know I would have a lot of explanation to give .

We got outside of the penthouse in mosfilm district were the party was hosted.

As we walked through the luxurious streets , the smell of winter filled the air .

I noticed Tatiana was cold though she didn't say anything about feeling cold but the way she wrapped her hands on her chest said it all.

I removed my blazer and placed it over Tatiana .

She smiled and said "what a gentleman " , in a sarcastic tone.

"What do you mean I'm a good guy ", I told her .

"I know right, good to all the girls in school " she replied in a stern tone ," you do not have to defend yourself" , she said without giving me a chance to say a word.

I tried to defend myself even though she said I should not , while I was speaking she moved from my side and stood in front of me. Tatiana hushed me by placing her hands on my lips.

I felt the world become still as we locked eyes while her hands were on my lips. Staring into her eyes all I could see was blue .

I leaned in to kiss her .
