Chapter 1 The wedding Crasher in Red

The air inside the room was too thick to breathe, and the perfume of wealth hung heavy, choking the last bit of dignity from me.

Gold-trimmed chandeliers sparkled like they owned the damn sky, and the velvet chairs had more pride than the bride herself. Every detail screamed money. And fakeness.

I walked in late-on purpose.

Wearing red.

Not burgundy, not wine, not maroon. Bright, blinding scarlet.

My entrance stole more gasps than the bride's diamond crown. Good. Let them stare.

Let him stare.

Leonardo Greyson-the billionaire groom with ice in his veins and a contract in his pocket. My ex. My enemy. My unfinished business.

Because I wasn't here to stop the wedding.

I was here to ruin the bride.

The kiss.

I stood up, clapped once-loudly-and said, "Bravo! Almost made me believe it was real!"

The room fell into a frozen silence.

Leonardo's eyes flared. The bride blinked, confused. His father muttered a curse under his breath.

Security began to move. But I wasn't done.

"Congrats, Mrs. Greyson. Just a quick question before you sign your billion-dollar marriage contract."

I held up my phone. A video began to play.

Moaning.

His voice.

My name.

Her face turned white.

Game over.
