Malia's parents were betrayed by the Sacred Moon pack, and she would have died along with them but was saved by her grandmother, an old witch. Although her grandmother's home was the only place she calls home, she had spent the last century roaming the wild, spending her time with creatures that have gone amok, and losing touch with her more humane side. It was during one of those hunts that she met Zuriel, the son of the man who betrayed her father, and it turned out that he was also her mate, so despite Malia's animal instincts to tear his clothes off and mate with him, she suppressed it and rejected him, declaring that she doesn't want anything to do with the Sacred Moon pack ever. It was after this incident that her grandmother went missing, and a message was left for her that she could only save her grandmother if she became Luna of the pack. This angers Malia, and she plans to get her grandmother, and she won't give them what they want even if she has to take down every member of the pack. Zuriel was named Alpha after the demise of his betraying father, who showed the pack hell during his reign. Believing Zuriel to be better than his twin brother Zach, he became their next Alpha, but the nonexistence of a Luna in the pack leads to the division of the pack, and inner conflicts start arising. And just when he was glad he found his mate, it turned out she was the daughter of Lupin, and she wanted nothing to do with him.So Zuriel had to resort to desperate means to keep the wild Omega by his side. How do you convince someone who has lost touch with her human side to understand his feelings? Or how do you convince her that he is nothing like his father? Will there ever be trust and affection between these two very different people? And will their love be enough to conquer the demon they are sure to face?

Chapter 1 The Omega Princess

Prologue

The little girl peeped from around the huge rock to see her parents being surrounded from all sides by people they regarded as friends.

Her mother's sword was drenched with blood, while her father had blood splattered all over his face. None of it was theirs, but the little girl knew that very soon, her parents blood would join the others.

Because they were getting tired, and they couldn't bring down the whole pack since it was just the two of them, the pack member were all strong warriors trained by her parents.

The need to go save her parents grew stronger, but she could hear her mother's voice in her mind.

"Stay back, Malia, don't come out, sweetheart, just close your eyes," Her mother kept saying in her mind, so she closed her eyes and felt the warmth flow through her from her bond to her mother.

Suddenly, everywhere grew silent, and she became cold; the bond was broken, she couldn't feel her mother connection again.

Malia opened her eyes slowly to be met with the image of her mother toppling onto the soft grass.

Malia opened her mouth, preparing to give out a scream of war when a strong hand clamped across her mouth and pulled her away.

Chapter one

The human-like creature moved through the thick grooves of wood, her speed inhumane and her movement predatory; she moved with a fearlessness that tells that she knew the woods like the back of her hand and wasn't afraid of anything in it.

Malia wondered to herself what creature held the alluring smell that was drawing her in. She had been hunting in this wood for the better part of her life, yet no creature had ever given off this sort of intoxicating scent.

Now Malia was closer to it; the faster she moves, the more the scent overwhelmed her; she wondered why she couldn't place the smell; she had fought and killed a hellhound, dismantled the mask of berserkers, hunted with wendigos, yet this one smells almost human.

The thought brought Malia's movement to a halt: a human? What would a human want with this part of the wood, and why would the scent of a human drive her to excess? Well, there is only one way to find out.

With that thought Malia started moving again, though slower this time and with caution, knowing how evil and tricky human can be.

After a while, she came to a clearing in the wood not far from a waterfall; the silver moonlight illuminated the place with its soft glow and seemed to sparkle off the surface of the large body of water pouring from the huge waterfall.

At the base of the waterfall, a man stood, naked as the day he was born, his back turned to her, and as if he sensed her presence, he turned and looked directly at her.

Malia's breath froze in her lungs; the look in his eyes told her he knew she was coming and wasn't surprised.

With his gaze still on her, he made his way out of the water, and Malia's heart picked up in tempo, her palm started sweating, and her breast peaked with interest; her womanly part seemed to weep of its own accord, and she folded her hand into a fist to keep from jumping him.

He came to stand directly in front of her, scrutinizing her with narrowed eyes while Malia studied him in return.

His dark hair fell over his forehead, and his speculating black eyes with golden flecks were narrowed; his body was muscular and agile, he looked insanely good, and he had no inhibitions about his nakedness.

Malia's eyes traveled from his face down to his torso and stopped at his manhood; she stared at his rod with hunger, her nose flared, inhaling the musky scent, and her hand itched to touch his body.

Malia glanced up at his face to discover him studying her with laughter in his eyes, and she gave in to her more animalistic instincts. Malia let out a feral growl and tackled the man to the soft grass.

She runs her hand over his hard chest and licks her lips in anticipation, while he just continues staring at her.

She buries her face in his neck and inhales deeply, and although it took a while for her hormone-dazed brain to process it, she got the answers to her questions right there and then.

He was a werewolf, and this is the mate bond every werewolf is crazy about, although she felt like his scent was way too familiar.

Malia felt like she knew him before, but she likened the lingering sense of recognition and attachment that she felt to the mate bond because she was so sure she had never seen him before.

Without a second thought, Malia extended her tongue and gave him a long and lavish lick on the neck, and she felt tremors go through him.

He tastes of seawater, sweat, and a dark taste she couldn't explain.

Malia wondered why he just lay there, doing nothing, but that was not a problem for her; she'd been starved for so long that she was willing to do all the work.

So she sat astride him, and her woman's mound came in contact with his hot flesh because she wore no underwear; she had no patience for that sort of thing; she could feel her inside liquidating and her body shaking at the contact.

Malia slammed her lips against his alluring red lips, licking him with savage intensity that seemed to break his control as he opened his mouth and slipped his tongue deep into her mouth. While turning her over, he kissed like a man starved, exploring every angle of her mouth, running his tongue over her teeth, and coming back to dance with her tongue.

Both of them fought for dominance, but he broke the kiss and took in a deep breath while clutching her to his naked body, he murmured

"Malia," That deep dark sound resonated through Malia, and she disentangled herself from his arms and stood up.

This time she looked at him with clarity, without the haze of lust and want clouding her vision.

"Zuriel," Malia replied in a deadpan voice, one word that carries a lot of hatred and anger.

_____

Zuriel looked at the woman in front of him, her olive body clothed in animal skin, a testament of the life she had been living, her green almond shaped eyes seething with hatred and anger; he wondered why he had to ruin it by blurting out her name.

Zuriel had known that she did not recognize him the moment she had jumped him. He should have just kept quiet and made sure to pour his seed deep into her, and maybe he would get her with child, and then their fate would be sealed, this thought brought a smirk to his lips.

Malia growled at him when she saw the expression on his face, and Zuriel got up to go retrieve his shirt and trousers because, unlike his mate, who stood there looking at him like she wanted him dead, while he dressed, he preferred the comfort of modern clothes.

When he was done dressing, he came to stand in front of her, and they sized each other up, Malia's green eyes gleaming like the predator that she was.

"What do you want?" The question came out low, with venom dripping from Malia's voice.

"You," Zuriel answered with his arm crossed over his chest while he looked at Malia with a bland expression.

Within the blink of an eye, Malia attacked him and pinned him against a huge tree, with her right hand pressing into his windpipe and the claws of her left hand extended, she looked like an avenging angel.

"Your smoothness will not get you anywhere with me, I am not the Malia you used to know, I'll sink these claws into your throat and pull out your innards without a second thought, so think well before you try playing smart with me," Malia said and removed her hand from his throat before stepping back.

"I just answered your question, I want you, you are my mate, I am your Alpha, and I need my Luna by my side," Zuriel declared, his eyes glowing red with his back still resting against the tree, not moved in the least by her warning although he is quite sure she can do what she threatened.

Malia looked at him and let out a sarcastic laugh that held no humor "Alpha indeed, I don't want anything to do with you or the Sacred Crimson pack, the next time I see you in my vicinity, I will end your life, this is the only warning you'll get," Malia said and transformed into her wolf form, a giant gray wolf with green eyes.

She stood and looked at him in that form, letting out a deep growl in her throat before turning and disappearing into the wood; Zuriel looked at her till she disappeared but made no move to follow.

__________

Malia raced with intent across the woods, with no sense of direction, just going as memories clouded her.

Her parents, Alpha and Luna of the pack, are always throwing parties for the other members of the pack.

Her parents were fighting a war and defending the pack, and her parents were assassinated and killed by the members of the pack, her mother's soulless eyes, and her father's mutilated body.

Zuriel's father, her father's most trusted aide, led the war against her parents, and his claws tore her father apart.

She stopped in her tracks, dug her paws into the ground, raised her head, and let out a deep growl that resonated with her pain.

Zuriel heard the growl and held his chest as her pain mixed with his own emotions.
