Who doesn't know Henry Allen? Even the whole country knows him, the heir to the gigantic Allen Group. The group owns more than half businesses in the country: agriculture, technology, tourism, infrastructure, you name it. But, no one knows the Henry Allen has a girlfriend, Andrea Evans. No one can know, because Henry is being arranged to marry the daughter of the second richest man in the country, Ava Lawrence.
It's 6 p.m., the sky is dark already. The wind is so cold although the snow stopped few hours ago. Andrea rushes to open the cottage door with a password she knows too well. She goes inside and locks the door behind her.
Just as she takes off her coat, her phone dings. Andrea glances to the screen,
"Hey so sorry, a sudden family meeting. Don't wait up, love you."
She sighs. Today is their fifth anniversary as a couple. Yes, Andrea's boyfriend is the infamous Henry Allen, the son of the richest man in the country, the heir of Allen Group. No one knows about their relationship, it's been a difficult journey to hide it. Why hide it? Simply because Henry Allen is not supposed to be in relationship with a commoner.
Andrea takes off her shoes, walks lazily inside the cottage. Henry specially prepared this to celebrate their anniversary. It's one of the Allen's vacation houses, few hours drive from the city, private, secluded, and suitable for their secret getaways.
She takes a glace to a mouth-watering strawberry cake is on the table, "Happy Anniversary" is written on it. Beside it, there are some other snacks, few bottles of wine, candles, and a bouquet of red roses too. She takes one big strawberry from the cake, and bite on it, her other hand replies Henry's text, "I just arrived, I'm tired anyway so I will sleep early, no worries."
Andrea drops herself to the cozy sofa, she turns on the TV. Flipping between channels, until she stops in an old romance movie. She lets a sigh out again, the cottage is perfect and romantic. But again, she has to wait and wait and wait.
Henry is one busy man. In their five years of relationship, Henry almost never arrive ontime. His sudden meeting, sudden problem at his company, sudden business trip, sudden bla bla bla. Andrea always understands that.
Andrea sighs again, she thinks maybe after all this time, she's tired of waiting.
