Cheerings and screaming filled somewhere in Florida , United States of America, where cameras flutter sound are flying around, because it is the biggest event of the year ,reporters are on standby to capture the most exciting news of the moment when they spotted a black Maserati luxury SUV coming towards the award ceremony venue ,the car drove in while the crowd cheers anxiously waiting for their favourites artist to come out, the she came down , She wore a breathtaking gown that shimmered with every movement, the fabric catching the light like a cascade of tiny stars.
The dress, a deep sapphire blue, hugged her figure gracefully before flowing down in elegant waves, Her hair, styled in soft curls , A delicate necklace, adorned with sparkling gems, with matching earrings dangled just below her earlobes.
The moment had been pure bliss. She basked in the love and admiration of her fans, their excited voices blending into a symphony of cheers. Some reached out for handshakes, others begged for selfies, and a few stretched out notebooks and posters for her autograph. She smiled, savoring every second of the electrifying atmosphere.
BOOM!
Evelina gasped and sat up, her body drenched in sweat. She looked around, breathing hard, no screaming crowd, no cameras ,just her small bedroom, she turned her head to the wall, and couldn't find her old clock on the wall, she stood up to check and found it broken already
" Just the clock" she laugh nervously
She yawned and looked around her small house. The walls were peeling, and the wooden floor made noise whenever she walked on it . The house was old and needed repairs, but it was still home for her.
She picked up the broken wall clock, sighing as she set it aside. There was no time to worry about that now. She needed to get ready for the day.
Stepping into her small kitchen, she opened the cupboards, hoping to find something to eat. Nothing. Just empty shelves staring back at her. She checked the fridge, still nothing. Her stomach rumbled, but she ignored it. She was used to this.
Then, her eyes landed on a small container of beverage powder sitting in the corner. At least she could have a warm drink. She grabbed her kettle, plugged it in, and leaned against the counter, waiting for the water to boil.
It wasn't much, but it would have to do.
" Is this how I will be living , I can't even buy myself a decent meal?" she said pitifully while she opened the container.
The kettle whistled, and soon the warm smell of tea filled the air. She took a quick sip and checked the time. She had to get ready for work.
Her uniform lay in the corner, a bit wrinkled, but there was no time to fix it. She quickly put it on and tied her worn-out shoes. She reached for the bag and found a sausage that was given to her by a colleague and ate it with tea. As she ate, the old chair made a creaking sound, but she doesn't mind it has always been like that.
"Another long day waits for me" she said as she took a deep breath, stood up, and stepped outside.
"No matter what, I have to keep going even though I have to keep seeing that old ugly wicked boss of mine everyday" she said.
She walked down the street heading to work admiring everything and humming one of her favourite song by BTS; Dynamite,
"Cause, ah-ah, I'm in the stars tonight
So watch me bring the fire and set the night alight
Shining through the city with a little funk and soul
So I'ma light it up like dynamite, whoa
Dy-na-na-na, na-na, na-na-na, na-na, life is dynamite
Dy-na-na-na, na-na, na-na-na, na-na, life is dynamite
Shining through the city with a little funk and soul
So I'ma light it up like dynamite, whoa" she screamed out while people looked at her disgustingly.
she is a crazy fan
She smiled at the smell of fresh bread from the bakery and watched children laughing as they played on the street.
When she passed a flower cart, she stopped for a moment, breathing in the sweet smell of roses and lilies.
She walked past the shop windows, her eyes lingering on the elegant dresses and glittering jewelry, not with jealousy, but with quiet admiration. She didn't have much, but that never stopped her from appreciating the beauty around her. The way the sunlight danced on the glass, the soft shimmer of silk, the sparkle of gemstones, they all felt like little pieces of magic. To her, true richness wasn't about owning these things, but about seeing and appreciating them, finding joy in the world's simple, everyday wonders.
Just as she turned onto a quieter street, she felt a rough hand grab her arm. Before she could react, a man snatched her small purse and ran.
"Please, no!" she cried, but he was already gone. Her heart pounded as she stood frozen, her hands trembling,
"My money, it's all gone!" She said huskily, she has been saving all her life to repair the old house she is living because that is all her parents left for her, now, it's all gone,
Then, without warning, the clouds burst open, releasing a sudden downpour. Within moments, her dress clung to her skin, and her hair dripped with water,
" Great, even heaven decided to mock me , because I am just so unfortunate" she spat, her voice trembling with rage and despair. She threw her arms out, letting the rain pelt her face, her soaked dress clinging to her frail body.
"Because of course, I'm just that unfortunate! Why wouldn't the world laugh at me?" she said
She let out a bitter laugh, one that turned to cry , she wiped her face , whether rain or tears ,she just couldn't tell anymore.
" I should have known..... I should have known hope isn't for people like me " she whispered while Shaking her head.
" No matter what I do, no matter how hard I try..... It is never be enough , I will always be the girl destiny abandoned " she said
She wanted to scream and fight for the unjust but all she could do was stand there, soaked and shivering, while the day she hoped for washed away with rain.
