Chapter 1 SHIP OF DREAMS

The name of the luxurious ship was called Blue Torquise. It was an odd name for a ship but the owner really didn't care about it.

Ella Thompson stood aboard her father's ship and her eyes roamed around the people who had come for the party. She liked the buzz and was carried away in it that she didn't even see the danger until it was too late.

Ella lost her footing and fell over the railing and right into the waters behind her. It chilled her to the bone and as she tried to gasp she swallowed water.

That was when she started to panic. But it didn't last long.

Because she felt a firm arm grab her by the waist and pull her out of the water as if she weighed nothing.

She came face to face with the most handsome man that she had ever set her eyes on. They were so close to each other and she could feel the heat between them.

Where the hell had he even come out from? One moment she was alone, then tumbling into the sea. The next he was right there with her. It was as if the man has been waiting for something dangerous to happen before he showed up.

"Are you okay?" he asked her.

Ella blinked in response. She couldn't find the words to respond with.

He didn't bother to ask her for the second time. He could tell that she was still stunned at what had happened.

Shortly, they were helped out of the water by the attendants. Towels were brought and Ella was covered in a bundle. Her father and mother came right to her.

"Are you okay, dear?" asked Mr. Thompson.

Ella just nodded her head.

"She will be fine, Mr Thompson. She is still winded," Andy assured.

"I guess I have you to thank, Andy," Thompson turned to him and said.

Andy just smiled and left to get himself dried up.

Julia, Ella's older sister, came close, with reproach in her eyes and said, "I knew you were always so careless, Ella. Now look what you put that man through."

"He wasn't complaining, Julia," Ella said back. She knew that Julia never liked her. Always trying to blame her for every damn thing.

Well, Ella wasn't in the mood for a fight. She'd been away at school and holiday had arrived, as well as vacation. She had planned to enjoy her freedom however she wanted to and nothing was going to stop her from doing that.

The sun was just setting. The night was still young. Ella peeled herself from her mother's cuddle and went home. She got to the bathroom and had a long bath. Then she put on a sexy dress, took her Prada purse and headed for the Oasis Club.

It was one of the places that always caught her attention and she smiled as she walked in.

The place was ablast with music and filled with people dressed indecently. Ella didn't mind. She knew exactly why she had come so she wasn't bothered by what she saw.

She walked straight to the bar and signaled at the bartender.

"Need a bottle of Dussie!" she said over the music.

"That's a lot of power. Sure you can handle that?" the bartender asked her.

She wrinkled her nose at him. What the hell did he take her for? "I'm not a teenager," she told him. "And I am paying for it in full."

He raised both hands in surrender and brought the expensive bottle to her. Then he put a cup beside the bottle.

"Make it two bottles," Ella said. "I want to take it two at a time."

The bartender had learned not to complain so he did as he was told. She counted the bills and dropped them on the table.

The bartender scooped them just as she downed her first two shots and headed for the dance floor. Ella kept drinking and dancing. She stumbled into everyone who was in her way.

"Hey!"

"Sorry," she said, and giggled. Then she shut up when she saw who it was. Recognition set in. "Andy!"

"You're the girl I saved on the ship, right?" Andy asked.

"I am! I'm Ella Thompson!"

"Of course, you are."

"And you are Andy Livermore!"

"And how would you know that?" he asked her, because he hadn't told her his name.

"Whispers!" she exclaimed excitedly.

"Seems like you've had too much to drink tonight, Ella. Are you here with someone?"

"No! No! I am alone! And I only had two cups! Just two."

The moment she fell on his chest, Andy knew she was lying. Ella was drunk and two cups could not make her act the way she did. He wondered if he should just leave her alone. But she was on her own and he wasn't sure if it would be a good idea. The club patrons wouldn't be nice to her if she stumbled into the wrong people.

"Why don't I get you out of here, Ella? You shouldn't be this drunk."

"Sounds like a good idea. Take me to your room! Don't take me home!"

Andy put his arm around her waist again, and that brought back memories. Ella knew one thing. Drunk or not, she wanted him. The next moment, they were in Andy's room. He couldn't stop the flood of attraction that tried to consume him.

Their clothes came off and since there was nothing stopping them, their bodies were lost in some odd mixture of lust and alcohol.

***

When Ella woke up and realized what had happened, she stumbled out of his room and into the morning light. She felt ashamed of herself. They had made love without protection. She didn't even know who to blame.

But that didn't stop her from trying to reach out to him that very evening. She needed to set things straight.

She got his number and they texted and talked about a lot of things. The attraction between them grew into something that Ella had never felt before.

Next thing she knew, he was texting her, "When next can we see?"

They did see, and it was another bout unprotected sexcapades.

Ella was worried about it, but Andy would always tell her, "I've got you."

And she believed him. Because she was falling so hard for him.

Two months after, Ella wasn't feeling too strong, and she felt there was nothing wrong in taking a pregnancy test.

Ella's heart fell to her stomach when she saw the double lines on the test kit. It was expected but she didn't anticipate the way her mind spun when she repeated the test and realized that she was really pregnant!
