~i think she is crazy~ ~why is she barefooted in a hospital gown? someone better grab her please before she starts to bite ~ I wanted to make a run for it,but my tiny leg couldn't match that of the mob behind me.yeah I was grabbed, tied up and thrown into the boot of a car despite all my protests.i laid there uncomfortably as I thought about my ordeal and what brought about my current situation.it was all because of that two faced snake who wasted my time and resources for two years while I spent those years committed and deeply in love with him now I am being whisked into a hospital as a mental patient,well maybe I am mental,I scoffed as I swallowed whole the bitter pill of fate. Drop her now! A deep yet husky voice shook the air as some of the guys bundled me on their shoulders,I turned with my mouth ajar and eyes widened could this be destiny? or Fate?
Chapter 1 Encounter
She stood transfixed to the spot paralyzed with
a mixture of shock and horror as she
watched her two long years of hard built
relationship fall into shambles.Still
frozen to the spot she stared at the
person she thought forever with engulfed
in a deep kiss with a petite Blondie.Her
fingers trembled yet her legs refused to
move from the spot as the rain poured
hard as if venting her frustration.she could
feel her knees growing weaker and weaker by the minute
till they completely cave into the inconsolable pain that overwhelmed her soul .The last thing she heard
was a loud horn, the faint voices of passersby who appeared to have gathered around
her and the pattering of the rain which was
pouring angrily then everything went
dark.
"She's awake !" A raspy voice echoed from the doorway, where a male doctor clad in his white coat stood on his way in.
He walked up to Hayden who is yet to be aware of her current situation,she groaned as she sat up on the hospital,her right hand on her forehead.
"Where am I?" She managed to asked wearing a confused expression.
"You're in a hospital." The doctor calmly replied.
"Hos-pii-tal???" Her mind did a 360 as the words came out of the doctor's mouth.
"How can I be in a hospital?" She said almost to herself.
"You were involved in an accident last night,you hit your head a little and ended up with a little bump at the back of your head."
But Hayden could hardly process what the doctor was saying anymore,her head was spiralling in different directions,she took a brief glance at the room she was in and could easily tell that it's a private hospital,her grip tightened on the blanket and she broke out in a cold sweat.How was she going to afford the medical bills of this fancy hospital huh?.she cursed herself inwardly, bowing her head with her eyes sealed shut and lips puffed in anxiety.
"Are you listening madam?" The doctor's calm voice broke her out of her reverie.
"Oh yes I am,I mean why wouldn't I be."
The doctor scribbled on the patient's chart and continued talking.
"Your test results are good but we still need to keep you here to monitor your health in case something occurs for at least Two-four days before you can get discharged."
"Two-four days?!!!!" Hayden screamed in shock almost choking on her saliva.
Even if she opens up her savings she still wouldn't be able to cover the costs.
"Is there a problem madam?" The doctor asked worriedly.
"Oh no, no.There is no problem at all." She replied feigning a laughter.she shifted uncomfortably on her bed,her brain calculating on what her next course of action should be.Immediately the doctor left the room she hurriedly yanked off the cannula from her vein and tip toed quietly towards the door.she poked her head a little glancing left and right to ensure no one was watching,after getting a clear coast she scurried out the door like a squirrel chased by it's predator.she accidentally bumped into someone without looking,it was a tall guy with a broad frame,she even felt his hard abs though it was only for a split seconds.she was about saying sorry when she spotted the doctor coming towards their direction.she quickly hid behind the guy tugging at his suit like her life depended on it before begging him to keep going forward.When they got outside she heaved a sigh of relief and finally released her grip.
"Phew,that was close." she blurted awkwardly.
"Thank you so much for helping me,I know you might have some questions but I have got to run now byeeeee."
And with that she skipped off.The doctor came out at that moment, on his way to grab lunch but he caught sight of the guy.
"Mr Raymond I see you have come back to check on the patient you brought in last night,come I will take you to her she is finally awake."He offered
"That won't be necessary doc,I will drop by some other time.i will take my leave now."
He walked towards his car, a smile crept up his face as his brain did a full replay of the earlier debacle,his chauffeur opened the door for him to get in the car and they sped off.
