The earth was relatively peaceful...
They didn't know that the date of their destruction was near.

That was how peaceful and delusional they had become...

Because they took everything as a joke
They thought that everything will be relatively peaceful till the end of time
They were waiting for that end of time
The end that the holy book once foresaw...

They believed that it wouldn't come yet
So they kept going around their business
They didn't care, they wouldn't bother ...
That was how careless humans had become
But little did they know that a storm was brewing and that storm was enough to wipe out the joy, peace, comfort, and the serenity of the earth and usher in the reign of darkness

A sign board could be seen and on the signboard, the sentence "Protectors of the Earth" was written in Dark color
The fortress was made entirely of bronze
The gates were gigantic and the walls of the fortress were so high and long that the end couldn't be seen ...
On the walls of the fortress, all kind of cannons and gunpowder machines could be seen
Inside the fortress, all kind of foreign technology could be found
The surrounding and wall of the fortress look ancient but the technology found inside could said to be so advanced.
Heck There were even aircrafts inside the fortress.
Underneath the fortress, a massive underground bunker could be seen
Inside the bunker, there were countless rooms, each being the size of a couple of penthouse's combined
A the center of the bunker was a massive throne room painted in gold with 6 golden thrones
Each larger than the other , with the one in the middle far larger than the other ones
There were 5 men wearing ancient clothes like those used in the medieval era and those of ancient Joseon and Qing dynasty
Their auras carried a hint of regality and age but their faces looked so young and their figures looked fit
Don't be fooled by their faces, for these men were all ancient beings far older than their faces...
These men have lived for up to a millennium...
On their clothes were badges numbering Shadow 1 to Shadow 5
Why were they only 5 people in the throne room when there were 6 thrones
Because their leader seemed to have disappeared
But these men were not perturbed
Afterall
Their leader was very mysterious
He comes and goes however it's pleased him
But all this thing showed his power
Yes they were the strongest humans
