Chapter 1 Something revealed

Stella Margin is happily married. She has a handsome and wealthy husband, Jason White, CEO of WoGA Corporation. She is also the mother of their seven-year-old son, Rafael.

Today, Stella brought a special gift for her husband's birthday. She had carefully prepared this gift. But what should have been a sweet moment was the beginning of the destruction of her household.

As Stella entered her house, she was amazed at how quiet it was. She called out to her husband, knowing that he had arrived home before her. "Darling, where are you?" Stella went into her room.

But behind the closed bedroom door, she overheard her husband talking to a woman he knew quite well...

"Honey, your playing is so passionate, do you want something?" The man asked.

"I want to become the mistress of this house as soon as possible. When are you going to divorce that fat woman?"

A woman's voice answered him from behind the closed door.

"We've been together since the village, Jason, for eight years, and we already have Rafael as the successor to the family business, what else do you expect? Am I tired of pretending to be a maid in this house?" She said, sounding spoiled.

When she heard that, Stella's world seemed to stop spinning as she heard it all. The child she had adopted seven years ago was not someone else's, but Jason's child with another woman, a long-time maid who turned out to be Jason's mistress. All this time Stella had thought of her as her own sister.

"I know, but I can't just divorce her. Give me time, I'll divorce her sooner or later."

Bruk.

Jason's answer surprised Stella and caused the gift he was holding to fall over, making quite a noise.

"Did you hear that? It sounded like someone panicking.

Hearing footsteps approaching the door, Stella grabbed the gift she had prepared with shaking hands and ran outside.

She went to a park where she could calm down. What she heard was heartbreaking. She clutched her shirt and stifled a scream she didn't want to hear.

In the past, when she felt down, Jason would be by her side, comforting her until she felt better. But now, even if he came with a million words of comfort, it wouldn't change anything.

The man she had once greeted on her knees at the altar with all his sweet promises had betrayed her with betrayal.

Tired, Stella paused to look at the beautiful garden, the colorful flowers and the cool air. But none of it soothed her heart in the least. She still vividly remembered the voices of Jason and his maid Mary in her room.

"Damn it! They've been playing with me for so long." Stella said angrily. Her tears kept rolling down her cheeks. Anger, despair and resentment raged inside her.

"I didn't expect Jason to do this to me, after all I gave him, and yet it didn't melt his heart or make him love me?" She said sadly.

Stella tried to calm all her feelings by looking at the surrounding nature, feeling every breeze in peace. "If I could still hug you, mom, maybe I would be calmer now." Elena leaned back against the wooden chair.

It wasn't long before the cell phone rang, Jason had sent her a message asking where she was. "Stella, didn't you want to give me a special present today? Where are you now? I'm already home."

Stella usually always answered phone calls and messages. For her, Jason was everything, hearing his voice could make her excited. But now, after the incident, Stella felt like her world had been shattered, half of her soul was gone and her life was gone.

Stella stood still, staring at the natural surroundings, like a lifeless human being. Alive but dead.

Stella ignored Jason's messages and phone calls. She doesn't want to hear his name or see him right now, everything about Jason hurts her like a thorn that keeps stabbing her.

By nightfall, Stella returns home when everyone is fast asleep. Stella had a spare key with her. She entered the house and went to her room, which was already quiet. Jason was fast asleep in his bed. And Stella brought a pillow to sleep on the sofa next to his bed.

When she awoke in the morning, she felt a strong hand clasping her body, followed by a gentle peck on her forehead. Without even opening her eyes, Stella knew that it was Jason. The scent of her husband's perfume was too distinctive not to recognize. In the past, this embrace would have made her feel comfortable.

But now it felt like a thorn piercing her heart, and all Stella wanted to do was break free of Jason's embrace.

"Why are you sleeping on the couch?" Jason asked questioningly.

Stella was silent and answered with a cold demeanor. "It's okay, it's just hot and I want to sleep by the window." Stella replied stammering. Stella's face looked wet, Jason knew that Stella had been crying.

"What's wrong, are you sad? Talk to me!" He asked.

Stella hastily wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes. "No, I'm fine. I miss my parents," she replied briefly, her voice shaking.

She quickly got out of bed, keeping her distance from Jason who was sitting next to her. She no longer wanted to be in the arms of the man who had betrayed her.

"Do you want to visit their graves?" Jason asked as he watched Stella. "Yeah... maybe later," she replied briefly before going inside and closing the door without giving Jason a chance to speak again.

Behind the bathroom door, Stella sat back. She could no longer hold back her tears as she remembered the happiness that had now been destroyed.

Soon there was a knock at the door and someone was talking. Then the sound of footsteps approaching the bathroom door distracted her a bit.

"Stella, I'm going to take Rafael to school and then go to the office, there's a very important meeting." Jason said.

"Yes, be careful on the way, say hello to Rafael, I can't take him with me." Stella replied, holding back her tears.

"Oh, okay!" Jason's footsteps sounded far away. Stella opened the door, went to the bedroom window and pulled the curtains to the kitchen.

From there she saw Jason and Mary getting ready to leave. They got into the car. Mary sat in the front seat and her son Rafael sat in the middle seat.

Quickly, Stella grabbed her bag and followed Jason. She drove very carefully so as not to get caught. When they arrived at Rafael's school, they all got out of the car and walked hand in hand through the streets. They stopped at a grocery store.

Stella approached them from behind. "What are you doing behind my back, Jason?" She grumbled.
