Chapter 1 THE PAINFUL TRUTH
CATHERINE'S P.O.V
"Andrew, I don't think its a good idea to do this here, what if we get caught?"
"Don't worry, Jessica, you know you want this and besides no one will catch us. She said she was going out and won't be back for a while so she should be the least of your worries right now. Let me make you feel good"
She giggled as she caressed his head, "Alright, if you say so. Make me feel good"
The sound of their moanings filled the room but I said nothing as I had up my phone and pressed record. Yes, I was in a closet watching as my younger sister and finance are having sex in our room. My eyes burned with tears and a lump was stuck in my throat. Of all the things I would ever imagine would happen to me, it had to be my fiance and my younger sister having sex a day to our wedding. A love tear fell from my eyes and slides to my cheeks as I watched them passionately mane love. Andrew was touching her looking at her in ways he had never done to me. How could I have missed this, they were doing this right under my nose. All those times I saw them being extremely close and so knowledgeable about each other, even more than me, I had thought they were just getting along and were being cute. Little did I know that it was more than that. I hadn't suspected anything today you know. You see, it was true I wanted to go somewhere, I had told Andrew. But I realized I had forgotten my wallet so I came in to take it but then I heard his voice and my sister's voice. Thinking they wanted to prepare a wedding surprise for me, I had hidden in the closet so they wouldn't see me. But...this was what I met instead, such is my bad luck but good timing huh? I will make them pay, I will expose them, just they wait. But Jessica why? Why you off all people to sleep with my fiance? I love you so much and I would kill just to make sure you are happy so why? More tears poured down my cheeks and my hands trembled.
"Andrew, I love you so much, its so sad that you will have to marry my sister. We won't get to meet often" she whinned as she rubbed her finger over his chest, a pout on her face.
"I know Jess, I love you too but I have to marry your sister. But it doesn't mean we will meet less, Instead you can use the pretext of visiting us to come see me so we can continue our love" he assured her as he played with her light brown hair, she giggled and nodded in response.
"Alright, I will come every time"
Fury filled my body and I yearned to run out of the closet and confront them but I have to hold my self, its not the time. I stayed there for about an hour until they finally left and I stepped out wearily and sat on the bed with a blank look. Thankfully, he had the sense to change the sheets. I lowered my head and immediately, I burst into tears, loud ugly sobs as I stared at my engagement ring on my finger. I cried for a long time until I finally got it together and went to wash my face. My eyes were red and puffy, not good for a bride. As soon as I was done washing my face, I heard someone's come I side.
"Babe? Babe are you back?"
That was Andrew, how do I face him without punching him or crying.
"I can do this." I took a deep breath and pasted a smile on my face.
"Hey honey, I'm right here"
The door opened and he popped his head in and smiled at me. I would have been fooled if I hadn't witnessed what I had witnessed.
"Hey babe. How did your outing go?"
I smiled as I hugged him and kissed him on the lips. Blegh!
"Oh it was great, I had fun"
He frowned as he stared at me, "Ate you okay? Did you cry? Your eyes look puffy and red"
I forgot about that. "Oh" I waved my hands and tried to sound nonchalant, "I watched a movie and it was so emotional and you know how I get when I watch those kinds of movies. I cry and so that is why"
He snorted as he caressed my face, "You were always so emotional, but you shouldn't let yourself be a cry baby"
"Yeah, yeah, I know but I still don't mind" I smiled at him again before faking a yawn.
"You must be tired huh, go rest. Tomorrow is our big day"
"Yes I'm beat. Don't worry..." I grinned at him, "I'll go have my beauty sleep. **************************************
"Excuse me?"
"Yes?".
"You're in charge of the music and sound right?"
"Yep, that's me"
"Alright, here, this is the playlist we have decided on, sorry for giving it to you late" I handed him a memory card
"Alright, I thought I had collected it before"
"Oh, yeah, we changed it and make sure to play it in video form"
"Alright, no problem" the guy shrugged.
I smiled as I quickly made my way back to where my bridesmaids were waiting for me.
"Where were you Catherine?" Jessica asked as she hurried to me with a worried look on her face, couldn't fool me.
"I'm fine, I just had to go to the restroom" I answered softly.
"Great, I thought you were about to dash off, everything good?"
I stared into her eyes. "Everything is perfect" I grinned.
"Alright, everyone, places. The ceremony is about to start"
I clutched my bouquet tightly as I placed my hand in between Andrew's offered hand, he smiled at me, I smiled back but I wasn't really smiling. Soon we were standing in front of the priest.
"Please play the music on our playlist" Andrew told them, I watched intently as his face immediately took on a horror expression.
