Some marriages may not begin with love,but they end with it "I hope you realize that I'd never and will never love you Elsa. You will never be her and I hope the day you start to realize that then the better it gets for you". I look up at him with tears in my eyes and I see him smirk at me. "You really don't have to always remind me that I have no place in your life,why are you bent of frustrating me and making my life miserable". I say and he looks down on me with disgust. "GET OUT" I immediately jump out in fear and ran out.
Chapter 1 Elsa's pov
Life is not a bed of roses
I remember hearing this phrase while growing up. My family is an average one when it comes to finances at least we could afford three square meals.
Waking up in the morning by 6:30am has to be the most annoying part of my day asides from my job. Working in a cafe isn't what I envisioned my job to be,but who am I to complain at least I have a decent job that pays.
Walking into the bathroom to wash up and brush my teeth and prepare for my day,I finish up and walk into my closet to choose an outfit for the day,I go for a simple look. I quickly finish dressing up and apply minimal makeup,I walk down the stairs to look for my parents,I find my mom by the kitchen counter,chopping vegetables.
"Oh Jesus,Elsa,why did you scare me like that",she cries out in surprise.
"Mom you are overdramatic,Good morning"
"Good morning love,you are down early today?" She asked
"Vivian threatened to leave without me so I had to finish up early to catch up with her"
"Oh now I see,anyways your lunch is over there".she points out to the dining
I pick up my lunch and go to hug her
"Love you mom take care of yourself and tell dad I've left for work"
"Okay I will honey"
I have a loving family,a supportive sister and an elder brother who is currently away. I have everything I could ever ask for and I am so grateful for everything.
"Hey Idiot. Good morning to you too and thank your God you finished on time today"Vivian says to me.
"Well you threatened to leave me so I did what I had to do and good morning to you too".
"Whatever,any plans for today?"She asked.
"Neh,nothing much just work that's all"
"Ohh okay have fun"she says as we drive in silence to work,she drops me off and drives off.
Oh God,what a long day already.
