Elena Woke up to the sound of her alarm,no rush for works just waiting for a particular phone call she has always expect from a client oh yes the only job she does is pick pocket since that is the only job that pays her daily.

having a sick mother at home whom she has to care for ,ever since she lost her husband her father with nothing left for the both of them.

hmmm she has always promised her mom a good life and good health how then can she achieve these she scoffed out loud.

Getting off the bed she yawned , stretched an swung her legs to the other side of the bed her feet touching the worn out carpet

Elena walked to the kitchen, rubbing the sleep off her eyes. in search of breakfast

Opened the fridge revealing a nearly empty shelf.

A half pack of yogurt,6 eggs , half jar of honey

The cupboard isn't even better.... Half a cartoon of noodles, a bag of flour, a bottle of veg oil . She sighed going for noodles and eggs again not her favorite but can do for the morning

As she waited for the noodles to be ready to eat her mind drafted to her financial struggles

Rent is almost due again, no savings left again

Her mom's medication almost at the edge of finishing

How can she meet ends , her thoughts interpreted by the smell of burning food she rushed to off the gas ,dishing her food that was almost all burnt she took a full spoon into her mouth and a knock was heard , Elena knew who it would be already only her best friend visits her

"Elena girl ! ,open up!!" Jiji's cheerful voice shouted from outside .

Elena Smiled welcoming the distraction ,she opened the door to find jiji holding a grocery bag with a bright smile

Hey bestie I got you breakfast , Elena eye widened as jiji reveals a fresh set of pastries,bread , fruits and coffee
