The woman my fiancé brought home is holding a paternity report and accusing me of being a false heiress who has taken over her nest. She has taken everything from me, and my parents have kicked me out of the house for the benefits she brought to them. Little did my parents realize that my fiancé and she conspired to take over our family business, and the only one who can protect it is me...

Chapter 1

I returned to my room, my head pounding and my eyes so dry.

The door creaked open, and a well-dressed woman entered. Her face was filled with anger. "Harriet, you've really let me down. You've been under the family's care for so many years, but you throw a tantrum just because Grace used your proposal. Have you ever considered her feelings?"

Tears welled up in my eyes, but I held them back. "Mother, I've given Grace everything she wanted. But you and my father know that I have put great effort into this proposal. How could she possibly become the head of the project department with my proposal?"

Perhaps my mother felt guilty, so she avoided my gaze. She murmured, "Harriet, Grace only used one of your proposals. If you really think about it, everything you have now should have been hers. You need to give way to her. Do you understand?"

I lowered my head and remained silent.

My mother muttered under her breath as she left the room, her voice faintly trailing off. "She's still not truly part of the family after we raised her for so many years..."

Tears fell uncontrollably, and deep despair engulfed me.

I had thought I was the happiest woman. Although my parents were often busy with their business, they were always proud of me.

My fiancé, Victor Simonds, had always cared for me, and we grew up together.

I still remember Victor's vow at our engagement ceremony. "I will love you, trust you, support you, and stay with you forever."

In the end, those vows were just fleeting words.

Their validity lasted only as long as it took him to speak them.

Within just six months, Victor brought another woman home.

Her name was Grace Rowe. But she changed her name to Grace Page with a DNA test in hand.

And I was nothing more than a mistake, the one my parents took back by accident.

My parents were unknown, and I should have grown up in an orphanage. My identity should have been Grace's.

My parents held a formal gathering to announce my true identity and rename Grace.

From then on, I was not the daughter of the Page family but an adopted daughter of the family.

Victor seized the opportunity and broke off our engagement and became Grace's fiancé.

I received a pornographic video. "Do you like this?" The man speaking in the video is my husband, Mark, whom I haven't seen for several months. He is naked, his shirt and pants scattered on the ground, thrusting forcefully on a woman whose face I can't see, her plump and round breasts bouncing vigorously. I can clearly hear the slapping sounds in the video, mixed with lustful moans and grunts. "Yes, yes, fuck me hard, baby," the woman screams ecstatically in response. "You naughty girl!" Mark stands up and flips her over, slapping her buttocks as he speaks. "Stick your ass up!" The woman giggles, turns around, sways her buttocks, and kneels on the bed. I feel like someone has poured a bucket of ice water on my head. It's bad enough that my husband is having an affair, but what's worse is that the other woman is my own sister, Bella. ************************************************************************************************************************ "I want to get a divorce, Mark," I repeated myself in case he didn't hear me the first time-even though I knew he'd heard me clearly. He stared at me with a frown before answering coldly, "It's not up to you! I'm very busy, don't waste my time with such boring topics, or try to attract my attention!" The last thing I was going to do was argue or bicker with him. "I will have the lawyer send you the divorce agreement," was all I said, as calmly as I could muster. He didn't even say another word after that and just went through the door he'd been standing in front of, slamming it harshly behind him. My eyes lingered on the knob of the door a bit absentmindedly before I pulled the wedding ring off my finger and placed it on the table. I grabbed my suitcase, which I'd already had my things packed in and headed out of the house.
