Chapter 1 Cameron

Omniscient Narrative

There she goes, the most beautiful girl Cameron Baker has ever set his eyes on.

Alana Hall

She looked and walked so gracefully, like she was a model.

Cameron tried not to look too creepy as he stared at her walk down the hall, the blond boy continued to pretend to search for something in his locker, when really he was just using it as a distraction to stare at the beautiful blonde walk down the hall with her two friends who were glued to her sides, their hands occupied with books and their bag.

Cameron let his eyes roam a bit, she had let her blonde hair fall down to her shoulders, they clearly looked like it was straightened by her. The blond boy let my eyes drift from her hair to her face, her eyes were a very light yet sharp shade of blue, you can spot her eyes in a crowd of people.

His eyes moved from her eyes to her mouth, he saw her mouth moving and noticed something different, something she didn't have last year, she had lip fillers this year. But she still looked good.

His eyes were trailing further down but paused when he saw a hand over her shoulder making his eyes shoot back up to see the owner of the tanned hand.

Brady Stone

Brady stone is Alana's boyfriend, they've been together all summer, according to the hard launch she made on her instagram. They've been together for over two months now and that made Cameron extremely irritated.

Cameron stared at his smiling face and he could feel the annoying feeling of jealousy take over his body completely, the blond boy hated this feeling so much but it was something he always felt whenever it involved Alana.

He has had a crush on Alana for what felt like forever, and yet he couldn't muster up the courage to ask her out, or ever approach the blonde girl. He would catch glimpses of her in the hallway, class, cafeteria or any school event, and his heart would always skip a beat. But whenever he saw her he would always freeze up, unsure of what to do.

The blond boy stared at the annoying jock clinging to the love of his life-as he so desperately claimed-, he watched as he laughed in her ear, making her laugh also, which irritated Cameron.

He always wondered what she was like, what she liked to do with her free time, or what her favorite books or movies were-if she was the book or movie type of girl-. He imagined what it would be like to talk to her, would she talk to him calmly? Would she be nice? Sweet?, would she like the things he liked?, would they share similar thoughts and feelings, if there would ever be a mutual connection between them.

With a low groan he turned back to his locker and picked out the book he needed for his next class, which was physics, which is one of his favorite subjects, and one of the many subjects he was just too good at.

Cameron walked into the class, his eyes scanned the classroom for where to sit down before he found the perfect spot, it was at the front of the classroom beside the window.

'Thank God' he thought as he walked over to the seat and sat down, placing his books on the table and his bag on the floor under the desk.

He sat down waiting for the teacher and other students to come in to the classroom. He put his earbuds in and began playing his music, he brought out a comic book-an iron man comic- from his back and started reading it as he listened to his music, bobbing his head to a lil baby song.

A few minutes later the class was filled with other students, he let out a sigh as he watched Alana and Brad walk into the classroom hand in hand talking about whatever it is jocks and their cheerleader girlfriends talked about.

The blond boy rolled his eye before he diverted his eyes back to his comic book still waiting for the teacher to come in.

"Okay class settle down" he heard a few minutes later making him take off the earbuds and keep it back into his bag along with the comic book he was reading.

"Welcome to your final year of high school" he cheered making his students cheer with him, "okay, enough with the noise...." The teacher continued before he began teaching his students.

Just in the middle of teaching the door opened and a student walked in, completely shutting the whole class up. Cameron watched as she scanned the room before her eyes settled for his, he looked back at her before averting his eyes and stared at the table.

Gabriella Mosby

He heard the sounds of her boots as she walked, and as it was getting louder he looked up and noticed that she was moving towards him.

"Miss mosby" he heard the teacher say making her pause, he looked up at her and saw her turn back to look at him. "You can not be late to my class and show disrespect" their teacher voiced out as he looked sternly at his student.

She rolled her eyes and kissed her teeth in annoyance before giving him a fake smile.

"I'm sorry Mr Hathaway" she said, giving him an obvious fake smile, their teacher just stared at her with a blank stare before dismissing her. "Thank you Mr Hathaway" she smiled at him, turned towards to the seat she was approaching.

"Sup sucker" she said the second she sat down, taking out her book.

"Hi Bree" Cameron greeted back as he continued jotting down what the teacher was talking about.

"I'd like your notes after class, thank youuu" she said giving him a small smile to which Cameron rolled his eyes.

The class went on for its period before the bell rang indicating it was the end of the class. Cameron stood up and gathered his stuffs before exiting the classroom, proceeding to his next class.

Class went on for a while before the bell for lunch rang. Cameron gathered his stuffs before leaving the class, making his way to his locker and placing his books back into the locker.

He swung his bag over his shoulder and made his way to the cafeteria. He opened the large red doors, breathing in and out before he entered the very noisy and busy room. No one paid him attention-how he liked it-, everyone was too busy with their own stuffs.

The blond boy walked over to where the trays are kept, he took a tray and joined the food line.

He was too deep in his thoughts that he didn't notice the line had moved so quickly it was his turn, when he snapped back to reality but the snapping fingers of the lunch lady, a blushing Cameron ordered for what he wanted to eat, he thanked her and paid for his food before facing the crowded room looking for where to sit.

His long legs just went on its own since the 6 foot boy hadn't made his decision on where to sit.

But you cannot blame the nerdy looking boy, the school-just like every other school- had their own system.

There was a sitting arrangement that everyone knew of.

You had the table for the jocks and cheerleaders and not just any jocks, there was the table for the football players, the table for the basketball players, and the table for the swimming team.

There was the table for the popular girls who didn't engage in sports or anything sport related.

There was the table for the art students, there was a table for the weird guys who were tagged as the 'creeps' of Willow creeks high, there was the table for the 'bad boys' and 'bad girls' and then there was the table for the nerds.

Everyone in the school was divided based on what category you fell on. And sadly for the blond he did not fit into any one.

He could join the nerd table but he wasn't very good on socializing and he didn't exactly participate in after school clubs so he would feel out of place.

Instead he chose to be on his own, there were others like him who would rather be alone than sit in a group forced on them by the school's system.

Cameron found himself walking over to the usual seat he always found himself sitting at during lunch period.

He placed his tray on the table and set his bag beside him, he then began eating.

Just as he took a bite of his sandwich, his eyes roamed around the room like it usually did whenever it was lunch time.

His eyes roamed around until it landed on the one they were looking for, his eyes was glued to her, his gaze drifting across the cafeteria as he took in every detail of her presence.

She was laughing with her friends and her boyfriend, she was sat at the jocks table, her body was practically glued to the side of her muscular boyfriend.

Cameron couldn't help but frown at the sight in front of him, he tried to swallow the jealousy that crept into his chest as he watched how touchy they both were with each other, she was practically almost sitting on his lap.

His eyes left the large jock and met with her again, he couldn't help but feel his heart flutter in his chest as his watched her, his mind wondering to all the what-ifs.

'I wish I wasn't so much of a coward' the blond boy couldn't help but wonder as he stared at the girl he had fell for.

As he stared at her, he couldn't help but notice the way she brushed her back with her hand, he watched as her hair gracefully fell back, before she tucked her hair behind her ear as she chatted away with her boyfriend.

He loved the way she laughed, her teeth were straight and white, it was obvious she took hygiene seriously and that was a huge turn on for the blond boy.

As he continued staring at the blonde girl he didn't notice the person behind him, he almost screamed in shock when he felt someone flick the back of his head.

"Never going to happen Baker" he heard making him turn back.

"What was that for?" He hissed as he rubbed the back of his head, glaring at the girl who only returned his glare with a smirk.

"You were practically drooling" she shivered in disgust as her eyes trailed over to the blonde girl Cameron was staring at. "And I wouldn't want Brady to fight you, so I will be accepting a thank you instead of whatever this is" she kissed her teeth in annoyance before she walked away to her table, which so happens to be the same table Alana was sat at.

He watched as she walked over there, his eyes couldn't help but stare at her behind as she walked away, he shook his head to get rid of whatever though was creeping into his head before he stared at the smiling blonde girl who now had a frown on her face and Cameron knew why.

With a sigh the tall blond boy finished his lunch, got up and disposed of what was left, before he walked out of the cafeteria. But not before looking back at the blond girl for a short while.

He was head over heels for someone who didn't even know he existed.
